    I totally agree. People are remembering him in ESB and ROTJ, or his older stuff. His face was a little off in 77 haha. As for ordering, no place is really any better than any other. Japanese sites are a little cheaper, but shipping makes it about the same price as the gaps on pricing went up for them. SideShow is fine. Sideshow uses cheap ass Fedex shipping though. BBTS is charging the same thing. Prices are pretty uniform. I think maybe you could order from china and get a deal but I've never found a reliable source.

    Haha. He's back on his cheap stand sans arms. He'll just have to fly in air shows for awhile and stay out of combat.

Moosey - That model kit looks great. Wish that was a toy Welp. I said frakk it and ZEE operation was an Succezzz!!! Zee patient is alive! ALIVE! I tried to file down the original pin, and super glue the original shoulder, but it didn't quite work out. I ended up cutting the pin and it was too short to hold the weight right. So, I cannibalized my VF-1J 30th. (Sorry Tenjin) and slapped the black shoulders on there. I have to say, and agree with Valk Fighter and CoryD the black looks nice. One of the VF-1J 30th sides was a bit loose on the pivot, but oh well. I test it and it locked in the battroid/gerwalk shoulder down position and swings fine. I decided to just leave the arms off the 30th until I could buy a black shapeways to get it back to full functional deformation mode. It went back together without the arms and looks fine ... as good as it can look.. in fighter mode. I guess you're not a real Macross fan until you take a VF-1 V2 apart and replace something It was a fun learning experience. Thanks to wmkjr, chyll2, xrentonx, CoreyD, technoblue, valkfighter, and abbadon for the help and encouragement! Also thanks to veef for having those videos up.

    The 30ths are cheap, but it's still 70 bucks. I watched Veefs video but he seemed to take the whole thing apart. I could just cannibalize my 30th... and pick up another sometime. It's not my favorite valk haha

    Yeah. We'll see how the claim with paypal goes. I could try to superglue it but I'm sure it would snap again eventually. I'd rather eat the $30 bucks to mail it back and get my $300 buck than keep it and be unsatisfied with it. I'll def. think twice before I buy anything used from Jungle haha

    Actually, No. Neither the beige on the valk or the orange match my VF-1 haha. The orange is redder and the beige is lighter.

    Yeah, I've had valks on the list that didn't break. either way they should have listed it if they knew. If they didn't it's still damaged. I called paypal and opened up a claim. We'll see. I'll have to eat the shipping but the replacement shoulder wouldn't be painted correctly, so I don't see how helpful that would be. I'm not a hobby guy haha

    Well, I had my first bad experience with Jungle. I found out why that Super Ostrich is a B. The shoulder is broken. The piece fell right off when I moved it to check everything. I sent them the pictures and they told me they would "Give me a refund on a future purchase." but with no refund code. I said, No that's not good enough because I only buy from them maybe 3-4 times a year and I have no idea when something I want will come into stock, or that I'll be able to get it. Haven't heard back yet on that. I've been tinkering and looking at a repair but I don't think I could get super glue on it and get it in there without taking the valk and shoulder apart. I asked them in the email if there was anything wrong with it to mark it as a B and they didn't reply, so I feel justified in wanting some kind of action. They still haven't clarified to me why they marked it as a B. Either they knew and didn't list it, or they didn't know and don't want to deal with it. I'm thinking about calling paypal and mailing it back to them. I could try to repair it, and keep it in fighter mode I suppose, but I'm not sure if it's worth it at this point. Thoughts?

    Since the prequels move love of Star Wars pretty much died out. I stopped playing the games, reading the books, and following the property. I was just over it. But damn, this awakens the beast. Love it. They nailed chewey.

    Gotta stay on top of that stuff. Never used DHL but I usually call the post office if I get an notification that it's undeliverable. But yeah that sucks bro :/
