I agree 100% And yet, the Zeta movies probably moved a crap load more Zeta kits for designs 20 years old. What's more, Unicorn, Sentinel, and Crossbone are not easily had in English, so it stands to reason that Western fans might want animes. Because aside from novels, manga, or little OVAs, we don't get new UC series. The last six TV series were all AU. Even when we do get OVAs, they're usually beating the dead horse that is the One Year War. Which would be during the One Year War.

Mitsuko Kase might not have died, but she was still replaced by Takashi Imanishi after 7 episodes. Kung flu's comments still stand, IMHO.

Well, a totally new series is still better than a remake of 0083. Side note, does anyone know if there are any plans to translate Unicorn and bring it out for Western fans?

Sure, if by perfect you mean fantastic mecha having really flashy battles. Story-wise, it was a mess. That said, I don't want a remake of it either... I'd rather just forget about it, and hope for a Unicorn or Crossbone Gundam anime.

I don't think so. I think you need a Gamecube controller. And don't forget the GC memory card! -
Yeah, but if Hasbro's suggested retail is $10.99 for a Deluxe, and the Christmas price war is over, so most people are actually charging that now (which I guess I'm okay with), why the heck is Wal-Mart jacking them up to $12.99? Wal-Mart's gone from being the place to get Deluxes to the last place to get them. Well, as of Friday, my Wal-Mart was still $7.77 for Universe, and $9.98 for Animated. When I snagged Smokescreen, though, their register was definitely giving them some kind of grief. They had to put the $7.77 price in manually.

Or the parents are a second marriage. C'mon step siblings dating isn't anything we didn't see years ago (Marmalade Boy).

Lucky me! After complaining that my local Wal-Mart doesn't carry Legends, they started carrying Legends! I think they're a tad expensive there ($4.87), but that's less than I'd pay at the Hasbro Toy Shop after they tack on shipping. I snagged Brawn and Beachcomber. Still no Inferno, though. Bummer. Him, plus Ratchet, Hot Shot, Wheelie, Cosmos, and Warpath would pretty much complete this round of Universe figures for me. The Decepticons are starting to get sorely outnumbered, though. I added Blackarachnia to my Classics Decepticons, since I'm packing my Animated figures away (I quit collecting Animated). Ironically, I'm passing on Universe Cheetor and Dinobot, but I'm thinking about buying Animated Waspinator for my Classics Decepticons. Animated Swindle is tempting too, but I can't reconcile the Animated-style head with the more traditional looks of the other Classics/Universe characters. I'm probably going to get Overkill, Dragstrip, and Megatron from the Hasbro Toy Shop. Gotta fill out the Decepticon ranks!

You guys could always try assigning the computers a static IP.
-
I'm not sure if Sony cares, but the closest should be MS-DOS (since I believe that's Mac for FAT32).
-
We don't have those here. And neither my local Target nor my local Wal-Mart bothers with Legends.

Cheer up, Keith. I got my PS3 when you did, during the summer when the 60GBers dropped. Mine has had zero issues. In fact, it seemed to me that there might have been a spike in the number of people having (or at least complaining of) issues, so I unhooked my PS3, thinking to check the vents for dust, and was pleasantly surprised to find that while there was a thin layer of dust on top of the unit, the vents were remarkably clean.

You don't mind me asking where, do you? The only store in my area that seems to carry Legends is Toys R Us, and they haven't had more than Universe Animated Starscream since well before Christmas.

Microsoft at large is, but the entertainment division that handles their game studios, Xbox, and Zune almost always bleeds money. And there's a big difference between being profitable and maximizing profits. In any case, it sucks for the developers who lost jobs, but it sounds like the series will continue. -
Might be difficult for him. Do you have a desktop computer? You can try buying a 2.5" SATA hard drive enclosure (for turning internal SATA notebook hard drives into portable external hard drives), and erase it that way. As an added plus, if you buy a bigger hard drive for your replacement PS3 down the line, you'll still have the enclosure to use with the old hard drive. The only other option is, if the photos aren't too embarrassing or compromising, just send it it. If they repair and refurbish the unit, they'll certainly reformat the hard drive.

I voted TV. The story and pacing was so much better there. I see some are arguing that the movie is more focused on the Hikaru-Minmay-Misa love triangle, but it actually tosses in a lost Protoculture city and a Zentradi vs. Meltrandi subplot. Yeah, the art is more detailed, which makes DYRL prettier to look at, which is fine. It also makes for a complete story in a package that can be watched in one sitting. That doesn't make up for the fact that the story is greatly inferior.

I do like the new Leader Optimus Prime, and potentially the new Voyager Starscream. But the rest of the line consists of too many tweaks on what amounts to repaints of toys I didn't care for the first time. I really doubt I'll spend much on this line, and I hope they don't put Universe on the backburner again over it.
-
Do you consider the events of the IDW prequel to be spoilers? Or can I assume that some of the people who participate in this thread will see the movie and skip the prequels? It's honestly not much of a spoiler either way. At the end of RoTF Prequel: Alliance #1, Starscream is musing the events of the first movie and the Reign of Starscream series. He starts thinking about the warriors of Decepticon history, and begins carving "their symbols" onto his body.

Stopped at Wal-Mart this afternoon. They had Smokescreen and Dinobot, and they were still marked $7.77 (I only picked up Smokescreen, though). Still no sign of Inferno, though. Everywhere I go has Voyagers, but they're all Treadbolt plus the Cybertron repaints.
-
Oooh. I haven't seen Smokescreen (or Ratchet or Inferno). They're the last three Universe figure that I know for sure are coming that I actually want. Well, them and a few Legends I haven't seen anywhere.
-
That doesn't sound right. When I nabbed Cyclonus, he was $7.77.
-
His license plate says "JAAM"! I was going to pass on him like I did Cheetor, since I really only want the G1/Classics Universe toys, but if Wal-Mart's still selling them for $7.77 when Hot Shot hits shelves, they might have just sold me with JAAM.

Mario Kart Wii, which is probably my second-favorite Mario Kart game after the DS version. Super Mario Galaxy, which is my favorite 3D Mario game. Super Paper Mario, which is probably my favorite Wii game over all. Yeah, you could add Metroid Prime 3 to the list, but I thought it was kind of boring. Likewise, Super Smash Bros Brawl was less entertaining to me than Melee was. -

DSi isn't supposed to be out until April. Maybe Gameboy/Gameboy Color on the Wii Virtual Console? -
I'm an examiner (ISTJ), but apparently so were George Washington, Warren Buffet and Bruce Wayne. I can live with being compared to the Father of the United States, one of the richest men in the world, and Batman. EDIT: It seems Darth Vader is also an ISTJ. Now we're getting somewhere...
