  1. Cybergundam posted the following Arcadia Q & A on their fb (apologies if this has been posted elsewhere:- ARCADIA Q&A for Macross Products: 1. Visitor: ARCADIA is a company which the name changed from YAMATO? Staff: We are an independent company of YAMATO's Development Department. 2. Visitor: Are you hold the mold of YAMATO's YF-4, 1/48? Staff: We bought the new items. We don't have 1/48 and too old items. Also, those molds are cracked! 3. Visitor: Will you sell the separate parts for VF-1? Therefore, customers can replace its broken parts. Staff: If lineup increasing, we will review to sell the separate parts. Based on the above, I guess Yamato's 1/48 stuff would really be the most valuable thing now.
  2. for a moment I thought you guys were implying that it was out already
  3. it's actually a movie prop I hear
  4. I recalled he has them sent to 2 addresses or something, so he probably just stacked them for the shot
  5. Riobot Getter 1 (and probably the same for Black Getter) has been priced at 10,290yen MSRP and expected to release March 2014 Nice sculpt, plenty of die-cast, and hopefully, pretty damn articulate (like most Riobots). Hope Amiami will be able to give a bigger discount so I'll be more inclined to grab both. Wondering if the cape will have wire laced into it.
  6. heads up. Otacute just sent out their payment notice.
  7. @Plastik - Good to know. I have 2 set of 3 sizes coming in myself, so was wondering about it. Will probably use it mostly for the Yammies, since the Frontier Valks have their own stand.
  8. hlj finally sent me my shipping notice. paid last wed. so about a week to process this one..
  9. hey plastik. Awesome display. Was wondering how the flightpose stands handle Frontier valks? After hearing those horror stories about paint transfer, i wanna hear your experience.
  10. Not sure about how you did it, but I moved them all into my private warehouse. From there, you can get an estimate on your shipping when you consolidate your item.
  11. 2900yen for ems to Singapore. but I'm shipping it with my rvf-25. would have added more but that would cause me to get taxed by customs. also still processing for shipment since last Wed.
  12. hence the term SAL Registered. I've always wondered how hlj gets their ems so cheap, and why don't they ever offer sal reg.
  13. asked and paid for shipping last Wednesday. Still waiting.. patiently. Any word from people who ordered through Otacute? HLJ doesn't do SAL Registered. just normal SAL (no tracking). That's why EMS is usually the ideal way (and often cheap too) to go through them.
  14. well there was that 1 garage kit of a chibi scope dog with chibi pilot to match
  15. I love the new legs. So much better and closer to the lineart. This looks almost too perfect... now if only we can get an inkling of the actual price..
  16. that be true. SRCs have shown a trend to use less die-cast with the newer releases. but it's not like all Riobots come with plenty of die-cast either, nor should it be a reason to have such a high price, as some people have mentioned that it's just gimmick to up the price. Just venting personally and wishing Sentinel could do something about their price in the long run, so that more people can access their line. It's hard to justify their cost some times when they have Rio:bone figures costing a bomb as well, some with lackluster reviews.
  17. when they first announced it, it looks to be something Bandai could pull off with the SRC line at a much lower price. That said, I do love Sentinel's engineering (I have the Riobot Gurren Lagann myself), and there's no hiding that their figures tend to cost a lot (due in part fo small production run). Their Starship Trooper is going for 11,800yen already, given its relative small size. I'm still probably gonna end up getting both Black and Getter 1 at the end of the day though
  18. there is no preorder up yet, but Sentinel has mentioned the price before - 9,800yen MSRP for Black Getter. not sure if it's on sale in December, or actually going to be released in December (less likely).
  19. furthese left is Detonator Orgun. Dinogetter is an easy pass for me (not liking Getter 1 design too much). Was tempted with Getter-1 and Black Getter, but the price was a little overwhelming for me... seeing that amount of die-cast is changing my mind though
  20. man...if only this could be affordable.. I'd gladly buy 2. 1 to display in this epic set up and another in battoroid
  21. I agree. that shot of the showroom sample is rather u flattering, making me wanna just get one of this only
  22. these kinda thread pops up on 4chan's toy channel all the time. Always an interesting read. toy collecting isn't a common hobby and is usually frowned upon where I'm from (though that trend seems to be slowly changing), so I'm pretty envious of the people here who can show their collection more prominently
  23. 20,000 yen is my maximum for this (without shipping). If they seriously want to stay in business and compete with Bandai that is
  24. Most of my entire toy collection are still in their boxes, because the majority portion of my custom display cabinet still reeks of glue (or possibly formaldehyde.. I don't know). Carpenter says it would take 2 - 3 months for the smell to go away. But when I do have my collection up for display, I'll probably just lock the room when guests are over... probably only unlocking it for a few peeps who give me less crap about my hobby. When you have friends (best friends supposedly) who question your toy collecting hobbies, you learn to keep your power levels in check and not reveal too much to people...
