I almost met him once. But I didn't feel like waiting in line for an hour to get a signed SHADOW CHRONICLES poster. I wanted to go home and sleep. I don't like what he did with Robotech/Mospeada with Robotech: TSC. It's so tacky. Bad Korean animation. Wack cgi. Dull story. Total wannabe stuff. He's just making the "Robotech" name worse. I can't believe there are some people out there who actually like Robotech: TSC. I'm sure he's a cool guy to eat a burger with. But his art stinks. He's obviously a very good business man though.

Jenius, Thanks for the info. I did see that picture on the previous page, but I didn't even notice they were slightly different. Hmmm.... the heads don't look too different to warrant me to buy the Beagle over Toynami's version of the Beagle.... Either way, if I want some good head, I still have my MH's. If I want a cool Mospeada Key chain, I can still get a CM. =)

I don't get it? What's this Tommy Tune head everyone is talking about? I don't want to see a Korean guy, who writes back Robotech sequels, with wavy hair in my ride armor. And the Beagle Ride armor IS the Masterpiece from Toynami? Someone fill me in. I'm getting mixed signals here. I can't tell if it's a joke or not.

Kinda wack. I was never one for clear/solid color toys. I don't care about limited numbers either. Sounds like a cheap and lazy way to make some money. If I wanted a solid color toy, i'd go out and buy a model kit and throw it together unpainted. Skip the BS and give me the blonde babe in the red ride armor. Now. Great to hear the news tho. =)

Yeah, I know. I actually posted on your site a few days after you came back from Japan. I'll believe it when I see it (and don't take that as a shittty attitude on my part)... I'm crossing my fingers and I hope that company will come through. And just for the continuing record, your site rocks! I love the mixture of comparison photos and most of the toys I have bought were after reading your reviews; with the exception of the CM Ride armor review. =)

Don't hold your breath for the enemies, unless you're willing to do a search on ebay for "Matchbox" or "Exo Squad"... or if you're lucky, maybe a 4 or 5" Revoltech figure will appear... But then again, anything is possible. I never knew there'd be this many Ride armors to choose from.

Yeah, they're terrible. They're just a few steps above Matchbox Robotech action figure terrible. At least they have crotch armor. =)

Exo, is that a photo you took of your own toy?

Because of this, I know it makes him sit on the bike a little more naturally; but they should at least give us a piece 2 snap on it for those of us who want to display him next to the bike. Does this mean that Houqet's version will have camel toe?

The Beagle should be about $30 cheaper, just because he's cotchless in rider mode. I think someone in China screwed up and used the wrong plastics. They decided to run with them anyways! lol It really doesn't make any sense. It looks pathetic. I never really understood the release of "clear" anythings... even if they are limited releases. I don't care if they only make 5 of them. It's B.S.

And what about when the Beagle stops production? Does it become vintage?

Even the Yellow Dancer CM doesn't impress me. $190 for the Beagle isn't bad at all, IMO. Especially considering how much all these imports usually go for. MH's still have the upper hand. It's still very much worth $50-$60... it looks beautiful when transformed. Just like a model kit painted and put together by a pro. I just wish they were a tad bigger... then it would be a dream.

The crotch area bothers me... Either way I'm getting this tho... MH still looks the best, and most detailed, in armor mode. =) (only if it was bigger!!!) And I still like MH choices in color. Even though it's more grittier than the anime.... I'm looking at it right now and it's the sweetest looking toy I own.

Vegas, those latest photoshop pics are pretty cool (where you wigged them out and made them look cartoony). You had me fooled! LOL
