    Didn't know of such watches and i have not been up to date with watches since i've been using my trusty old G-shock for 15 years. AFK....is a whole can of worms that we've been through before. Literal translation vs Contextual translation. AFK has their translations very localised to american english which does not 100% translate to what the characters are actually speaking, which are what most R1 anime publishing companies are doing anyway. The context is not lost though. Most fansubs got for literal translation. There was a whole big debate on which is better but meh...i guess its just based on your preference. I for one was pretty annoyed with Valkyria Chronicles game's translation and the liberties they took with it.

    Coalguys and gg normally would be pretty good but i also noticed they were having too much fun and taking too much liberties with the subs. They translated "time machine" into "delorean"....and mikuru said "time machine" in english even. =.= Does an atomic digital watch not freeze in a time stopped room as well? Besides what Yuki did was already outside the laws of physics and relativity.

    So fine....i have rejoined the ranks of the Haruhists and am completely pleased with this episode. Its pretty LOL that loli Haruhi had the same personality as 3 years later. Not really important, but when Mikuru and Kyon returned to 3 years later, why would Mikuru's digital watch show the correct time when they have been in "stasis" for 3 years? Her watch should just show the time they got frozen.

    To be fair the V-fin is iconic to Gundam as the variable fighters are to Macross. Removing them would remove the Gundam-ness to it. That said, the only Gundam without a V-fin I know was the Turn-A and indeed i wished it wasn't under the Gundam franchise. Might've gotten more exposure that way.

    Doubt it....but u really should get the game if you're a fan of BSG. Very thematic and fun for the whole family/friends.

    ME TOO! And man does that baby gryphon look cute. You killed giants in the last game, now you get to ride on one. And i just played about 30 mins of inFamous. Not sure what to make of it yet....but i got motion sickness that's why i stopped. Will try more tomorrow.

    Should i use the same principle to not trust "professional toy critics" either? Most of the negatives seem to be the movie lacks the "human touch" or whatever. I'd be pretty disappointed if that were true though because the plot object known as Marcus Wright has a tonne of potential human drama and I'd feel quite annoyed as well if they never used him as best they can.

    Slightly OT, but have you guys tried the BSG boardgame? Its pretty awesome and the miniatures are nice. Last weekends game me and my pals. 4 humans, 2 cylons. Things look bad for humans Things look REALLY BAD for humans. Raiders were killing off the fleet, Centurions have entered the Galactica. BSG was destroyed.
