Kira was also in the middle of the explotion from the self detonating Aegis (with the integrity of the armor around the cockpit compromised no less), and Andy was in his unit when it exploded. When the Aegis blew up, it made one very BIG bang. In the Astrey manga that explotion nearly took out the Red Frame which was watching the fight from the other end of the island. Both of them had to have escaped death somehow, Mwu might have dodged death in a similar fasion. Weird stuff happens, even in real life like with Hitler and Stauffenburg's bomb that killed everyone in the room except Hitler. Well if you put it that way......can't argue with that.

Very possible, if they did go that way it woudl be believeable. But the dude got blasted by a beam cannon hit....

I don't like the fact that the Astray is becoming more and more like a ....I dunno...regular gundam with regular gundam colors? One would probably think a Astray ZERO CUSTOM or something would come out...and make it looks kick ass and kick the ass out of the GAT-X series....but noooo....its becoming into your regular fancy colored gundam. Psssshhh!! They come out with something like Outframe and Eta....behhh

But....ummmm...no i dun think so. Whiny reluctant main character? Nope Mecha? Nope Apocalyptic setting....uhh...somewhat i guess.

Like all anime based on manga, the manga hasn't finished its run , and Elfenlied is probably only halfway through the manga. But regardless, I thought the ending was pretty good since it didn't leave much hanging. Like everything important in that season was already explained and well laid out. Heh...and what a teaser ending.

Wow....no posts on this anime? Surprising. I classify this one of the better anime of last season (which just ended its run). It has nekkidness, blood, boobs, depressing circumstantial love story, excellent character/plot development, need I say more? Story starts off with some obviously secret facility of sorts, and guards with guns are being deployed. They're shooting something. A naked girl wearing nothing but some sorta funky helmet on her head. A guard exclaims and tells his co-workers to stay at least 20 meters (i think it was 20 meters) away from her....then he gets decapitated by some sort of invisible blade. Lots of guards dying....exploding, cut into half, blood splattered eerywhere....girl walks in its wake, bullets seemingly not harming her.....blablablablablablablablabla fast forward....she gets shot by a sniper, but not killed, ends up with split personalities. She's found by your average-clueless-caring-guy-who-only-exists-in-harem-or-maid-anime, and all she can utter is a very cute ~nyu (very much like Chii~ in Chobits) and ....well....generally just walks around naked and shouting ~nyu all the while , for you cute lovers. Of course their "happy" lives will not continue forever. (since each episode will feature some form of decapitation or other) Well if that doesn't rouse your curiosity, I don't know what will.

I thought this was an OVA? What's the deal with the fansubbed rips floating around? Were the raws obtained off of a rental only video? Apparently the 1st episode was released on TV so that people will buy the future episodes on DVD. Apparently Macross Zero was also like that.

Let me get this straight: 1.) Some dude (the 1st coodinator) sent information on how to make super babies aka Coordinators 2.) Jealous naturals rebelled and thus then there is racial hatred between humans and coordinators. 3.) Coordinators left earth to live peacefully on space colonies. 4.) Naturals are war hungry and nuked a space colony thus causing a war. ZAFT was formed. 5.) Naturals losing war because of ZAFT's advanced technology and superior people. 6.) To be on equal ground, Naturals came up with Gundams, Super Coordinators, Newtypes, and human CPUs.... So the way i see it....if the Naturals won against the Coordinators, they'll be back to square one with their inferiority complex with the Newtypes and human CPUs. Did i miss out something?

No. When Impulse (or any of the other Gundams) powers up the "Unsubdued Nuclear" part of the acronym is overwritten by "Unrestricted Network". I got the "Unsubdued Nuclear" thing from the intro, and I assumed it was the impulse since it WAS showing the impulse powering up. You do understand that those words on the screen were being written over, right? They were replaced with: Generation Unrestricted Networked Drive Assault Module The intro cuts off the when it's 2/5 of the way through the boot-up. Watch the episode, not the intro. Doh...stupid me.
