Strangely, although i'm all for stealth, I feel going rambo through the missions were much easier than MGS 1 and 2. I prefer stealth for the sense of "profesionalism" and all....but after awhile i get tired of sneaking and just take my shotgun gunning everyone down and throwing grenades from behind trees. Getting shot at won't take that much damage either. (this is normal mode). Rangerkarl: Bah...silly of me for not consulting Sigint. >_<

It was some kinda SMG with a double-capacity magazine. It doesn't look like anything I've seen before because of the strange magazine. Maybe its a TMP.

That's abit long to quote...but yeah this in response to jsarclight: I meant it like, normally bullets get launched out of the barrel, the bullet itself flies straight to the target with a "spin". But in that slow mo scene, the bullets kinda....urmmm....spun on the other axis. Like the front of the bullet as it comes out rotates so the back is facing the target and it rotates some more till it hits the target. I'm not surte how to describe this. If this is what you call "tumbling" ...i guess this could be it....

Yeap....everyone knows that. But still....i can't imagine THE BIG BOSS much less Snake to be a wussy like this Snake is. Gosh. I wonder who decided to clone him..... Question to the gun freaks: During the slow mo when Boss shoots her SMG at the drop pod, the bullets were like "rotating" (not spinning) as they were fired in slow mo. I heard this was the case in AK-47s and some guns. What's the point of this?

I'm goin pretty slow on this game. I just reached the part where Snake meets eva. *hubba hubba* Sniper wolf's momma? For one ...david hayter IMHO is lame. He's trying too hard trying to sounding "macho". I'm not sure if this was intentional or not considering the game is 50% bashing otakus. (military and movie otakus so far...) Snake is a wuss for another. He is so torn between himself and his "love" for the boss. I would consider Snake as a no-nonsense guy that would "shoot 1st talk later" kinda guy. Or at least a soldier who lacks such "sentimental" emotions. And I haven't played that far but from a friend who clocked the game, he says "Snake cries alot in this game". I'm like.....riiiiiiiiiighhhhtttt......I blame the mullet.

Short answer, it's kind of like Seinfeld - the show about nothing and anything. Slightly longer answer - alien girl and lecher high school boy and their friends get involved in all sorts of bizarre plots. The TV series and 2 of the movies were directed by none other than Mamoru Oshii himself. It is probably one of the most popular anime series to be aired in Japan and is also the funniest in my opinion. Some people won't like it due to the wacky humor, early 80s animation, and disco inspired music, but it definitely is a classic. Don't know whether its directed by mamoru oshii....but more importantly its written by Takahashi Rumiko-sensei, writer/creator of all things funny and (and long) whacky like Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Maisson Ikkoku and many others. http://www.animenfo.com/person,6,azamei,takahashi_rumik.html

I think the X-Astray aka Dreadnaught lies somewhere in there as well...possibly next to providence. Apart from Gundam evolutions, its kinda funny how the initial Gundam prototypes were mass produced into the Daggers aka "replace head use same body" and then dumb it down further by removing phase shift and a beamsaber. Daggers were from Strike, and there were Duel-mass productions in Destiny ep 2 or 3 which had guncannon-shoulder-cannons. PS: Someone refresh my memory, Kira rewrote the whole OS for Naturals to pilot MS....but shortly after that the EA attacked ORB with Daggers and the 3 crazies....so I guess the EA already had an OS to pilot MS's? I had the impression that Kira made the OS and without it, the EA were fish in a barrel...weird that it just occured to me.

At the start of the game, they aask you "Which MGS do you like?" a.) I like MGS1 b.) I like MGS2 c.) This is my 1s time playing MGS. and then followed by difficulty setting. I wonder what that affects? I just played about 30-45 minutes, encountered my 1st prey...urmm...i mean....ppl i have to sneak past and stopped. Comments: David Hayter....is crap. I hear him in almost all game english dubs. Snake sounds more exagerrated than he already does in MGS3, and I'm not sure who writes his lines... lame lines don't make big boss!

My SOCs found at a 50% bargain. But personally I like the kaiyodos better. They are cheaper, more accesories and able to do more dynamic poses.

I am looking for photos of a GFF #0005 FAZZ which I ordered online (to put next to the coming new FAZZ) and i realise that some parts mainly the 2 backpack cannons and the giant cannon's shoulder mount, are either yellowing or had a shoddy paintjob. Anyone has one that I can confirm this? Anyway Was looking around for photos and i realise there is some sort of "browning" on the parts i mentioned....but not quite as bad.
