I think he means if decals made for minmay guard GBP , should they blend with the red and blue of the normal GBP or should they be the original minmay guard colors which require the GBP to be repainted. I'd say that the GBP would have to be repainted to be the best option, though not many of us are modellers andd customisers.

I'd hate to think what he'd be doing with them mecha tentacles especially in an anime.

People grow more sensible over time. I think the RT VS Macross thing was mostly due to most ppl coming from RT forums who got banned or mistreated by mods there for mentioning yamato or macross, and subsequently migrated here. Then ppl like me who were never on RT forums joined in.

It just occured to my bored mind that Ender's Game could've taken place during the events of Gunbuster. We need more of these "humans against insurmountable odds" space opera shows. Like humans vs Zentraedi, humans vs space monsters, humans vs kilrathi, you get the idea.

I kinda agree with you. It could very well be a 13 episode anime series even so more time is given to flesh out the characters more. The drama and moral dillemas explored in the book is no stranger to the average anime director so i think it can be pulled off pretty well. Make the char designer Range Murata and studio BONES at the helm and we have a TEH WIN anime. Haley Joel Osbourne would've been a good Ender during the "Episode 1" days but not anymore. The potential Ender has to be a newcomer to the movie scene i presume. I found out some info on the production of Ender's Game. Slated back to 2008 but its currently still in "Development Hell". SIGH!! I am depressed. The movies are coming out with all these comic book/video game adaptations and none of it are sci-fi. I want some sci fi. ANYTHING!! It can be starwars-ish fantasy sci fi or it can be hard sci-fi ala Space 2001, or it can be sci-fi horror thriller ala Aliens. What I truly need is Space operas! There isn't any decent space opera in the movies since Starwars and that was hell of a long time ago. Only way i can satisfy this craving is from anime. Speaking of Sci fi there was talk long ago about an Ender's Game movie but whatever happened to that? Never heard anything about it since 2 years ago. Sigh. I NEED MY SCI-FI. <rant mode off>

I'm not complaining about the out of sync episodes. Only complaint about the show i had so far was probably the episode where it felt almost filler-ish. It was winter and Kyon had to go get the heater. Yuki was left in the room with voices of the drama club or something practicing as background noise. That scene was PRETTY long. >_< Evangelion elevator scene anyone? Only thing that happened that episode was the Asahina sub-arc.

They 'sorta' knew they were used to fight angels but no one actually saw evas or angels. Hence the military otaku's excitement when they made it out. Anyway back to topic, its pretty much confirmed all the EVAs will come out in the revoltech line, cause there were prototypes for all of them, except the EVA series. Someone on another board noticed, that the Revy figure doesn't seem to have any revoltech joints. Either that or they are well hidden. Anyone can spot the revoltech joint?

Never felt they looked waxed in anime. I liked the prototype eva01's purple compared to this final released gloss. Don't mean to nitpick, but the "general populace" never knew there were EVAs or Angels. Well they sorta did but never seen them in action since they were mostly in the underground shelters during an Angel Attack.

Probably wanna change this thread into a general Haruhi Thread? I wanted to start one but didn't think there were alot of ppl watching it so i just kept posting in the Latest Current Anime thread. About episodes, Haruhi has like tonnes o volumes. Melancholy is just one of like....10 vols? I'm sure they'll make more since Japan seems to be invaded by Haruhi-ism. I liked the subtle scene during the island mansion episode 2, where they were wet and taking shelter in the cave. Haruhi was reluctant to remove her bra as compared to the 1st time Kyon met her, where she regarded guys as no less than potatoes, and was totally unshy about undressing in front of them. But here was a 2 sec scene that shows she has changed...at least in respect to Kyon.

The color is supposed to be like that. Chill. Most ppl like it that way. The looseness seems to be a common problem. So yeah. Graham said they are gonna fix this in the re-release. Yes it doesn't retract the same way and so generally, yours is fine for this run.
