1. Ahhh Assemble Borg. That's right. XD I feel ashamed that my camera ran out of memory after charahobby so wasn't able to take much pics for Wonderfest. XD But then again many other ppl are taking pics so no biggie.
2. the ghost pack maybe, but the valk is painted. U can see the kite logo and arm stripes. 426966 Good eye. I'm very curious as to where all of the attachment points are on the Ghost. 426971 Someone mentioned that it attaches to the blisters on the top of the 0 but that would be inaccurate because that is where the missile pods would attach. On the Hasegawa model the ghost has seperate struts and then it also has slots where it slides in between the vertical Stabs. Chris 426982 The missiles seemed like they were part of the ghost itself. Or at least the missile hardpoints serve as the connector between the VF-0 and the Ghost itself.
3. About 50 USD...but i think its a 2nd hand toy. But everything is alright. Stickers unapplied, parts all there. Got the VF-17 for 27 USD
4. MAN!! I feel bummed. What an experience. It felt like half of Japan's males attended the events. I've never imagined how many otakus show up for these events. The numbers were daunting. The people were smelly. And you had to line up for just about everything. I went charahobby with 2 friends and when we reached about 8am (it starts at 10) the line already reached beyond the convention center all the way to the car park. I think this is the most people i've seen in a single place in my life. But boy was I wrong. We wanted to be the 1st few in line the next day at Wonderfest. So we went there immediately after chara hobby and went to an onsen to freshen up before arriving at Tokyo Big Sight at about 11pm. We queued in front of the entrance which suspiciously seemed like there were no ppl waiting there. Only 2 other otakus + us. At 3am, WF staff came and chased us off and guided us to the real line. HOLY MUTHA....the line was about 3km away from the entrance, and the line, we had to walk 15 minutes to the end of the line to line up!! This was 3:30am! Otakus were already there, and the summer air was filled with otaku sweat stench. It was horrible. We got into line and tried to get some sleep but could only catch a few winks. By morning, when the train lines started around 5am, more ppl came to line up. The number of people have already jumped to 7000 people at least. This report is to be continued. Still in japan so i don't have time to consolidate pictures, but this is basically what I got there from around japan and wonderfest. Close ups of the haul. Wanda Chans. T-shirts Packed into the big bag i brought that was half full with my clothes. I took out all my clothes and squeezed them into my backpack and put my toys into the big bag...most of them anyway. This is when everything is packed and ready to go. In the end i checked in the big luggage, and brought the 2 paper bags and backpack onto the plane. No problems from customs.
5. The last 3 pics are a new sub line from revoltech.... something BORG....Build-Borg? Cant remember. Apparently you can buy some of these and interchange the parts. There were also Ingram 2s displayed at the kaiyodo booth. Cool thing is they had a whole mound of revoltech toys for visitors to play with.
6. Hi guys. Just some quick comments. Generally the YF-19 was really awesome and i was looking at every angle and couldn't find any things i'd bit ch about. The fighter mode was real slick. Gerwalk mode was nice and the battroid was just awesome. I'd say it looks the best it could be without anime-magic.
7. There was at Wonderfest. No pics from me though. It connects to the removable bumps that reveals the holes. I couldn't see any thing that holds the ghost to the back of the fighter mode. It looks kinda small with almost no accesories so I'm hoping it would be cheaper than a VF-1 fastpack set when it gets released.
8. Awesome. I tried to get it during wonderfest but it was sold out (200 of them) within 15 minutes. >_< Anyway was able to preorder it so will be getting it eventually in 15 mins. WF had a big Top2 event. Yukari the seeiyuu for Nono was there....pretty emotional moment for her when asked how she felt since episode 6 was the last episode. Maya sakamoto and other cast members were there as well. Hideaki Anno made a surprise visit and gave all the cast flowers. Shortly later, Yukari changed into Nono costume and started singing some Gunbuster/Top 2 songs. Crowd was pumped up. Then they showed the Gunbuster/Diebuster trailer for the movie. Will tell more when i get back from Japan.
9. Woohoo.....wonderfest is mad. Never queued so long in my life. I was queing since 11pm the day before to try and get the Nono exclusive.....but alas....i was queing at the wrong place. I queued in front of the main door of the convention center but was shooed off by wonderfest stafff at 3am and pushed to the back of the line which was like a good 2-3 km away from the convention center. >_> And the queue....omfg at 3 !"(&('$&!'($ AM in the morn, there were about 4000 otakus on the road forming a 2-3 km queue. Most were asleep. The stench in the summer night was horrible. These people probably didn:t go back home to bathe but came straight from Chara Hobby. (I on the other hand went to an onsen nearby. ;P) Anyway long story short....i didn:t get the 1st 200 Nono exclusives but was able to preorder one due to the mishap. I only have one lousy YF-19 pic from chara hobby due to scary yamato booth men giving me warnings. Now i know why coverage for yamato stuff during events is low. Stole this shot: Btw Wonderfest itself only had the YF-19 in fighterr mode. Guess the rest were still at chara hobby. But they had something which CH didn:t have which was the VF-0A in fighter mode and Ghost Boosters. Pretty neat. It attaches via the removable pegs on the chest plate area. No pics though. ;( My friend, Tokyo Hunter has more skill at stealing pics though and has some ere. Scary looking yamato dude
10. I`ll go take photos despite scary yamato booth-men if that@s the last thing I`ll do. Chara hobby....i`ll be on the move from 4am onwards. >_< Gawd its gonna be a lonnnnnggggg day. note+ stupid japanese keyboards have all the signs in the wrong places. Too lazy to find the right signs.
11. You could try I asked in one of the Yodabashi camera stores in Shinjuku, the sales guy was cool about it even offered to open the case to reduce the flash...... But the manager was not so cool shall we say. He just said No.. Sorry No camera Please, and then shouted at the sales guy in Japanese so fast I couldnt tell what he was saying. Agent GHQ Did you just get recently your self a mint in box 1/55 Super O by chance ? 425676 Yeah it was ABC. Man there was alot of cool stuff all over Akihabara but they really are anal about taking pictures. Stealing shots makes me feel like i'm shop lifting.
12. Sorry. Have limited net access now. The Side of the legs are stickers. The markings on the wings are tampo printed though. I hope to see the VF-0A and hopefully the 1/60 YF-19 tommorow at chara hobby.
13. Hi guys. Am in japan now and saw this down at akihabara. Hard to take pictures when there are signs all around warning you not to and store keepers giving u stern looks everytime they see you taking pictures. >_>

15. Ended pretty much how i thought it would, but the final showdown with uchuu kaijiu was quite a disappointment. Didn't understand most of what was happening as i couldn't catch the japanese. Am still in Japan.
16. Cool.....but i want the toys!
17. Oh wow...that IS tiny. >_< Not transforming it?
18. Does it come with the Exillion base? Can't really tell what i'm lookin at from those pics though...very blur. >_< But the front box seems to show gunbuster crossed arms pretty well.
19. Are you serious?!? WTF?!? 424455 You think? I posted that link was to a japanese toy shop after all. XD Its like BT asterisk but the roles reversed i guess.
20. I like the white panel lined stealth. Looks awesome.
21. Heh...i don't know what this is, but i dun think u guys wanna know either. At least it has the E.D.C words on it....heh.... http://www.noda-ya.com/html/syohin/figure/02001120.htm
22. I think they are actually trying to move the transformers line up to the adult market. Transformers in Japan is on par with Pokemon and Naruto as prime time kiddy stuff (thus the kiddy storylines? )...so by including loli characters, they wanna market transformers to the otaku crowd which is obviously the bigger market. Of course it alienates the old fans....but as a business decision, it might be wise. Shrug.

24. This is obviously a clash of cultures between the Japanese mainstream and the American mainstream. The average American fanboy would be appalled by this, but in Japan, this is common practice to push sales by showing/packaging "Moe" characters with their toys, and i'm not the least bit surprised by the Asterix line and now, the KISS line even. Besides, loli Melissa > American Marissa. XD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:MarissaFaireborne013.jpg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marissa_Faireborn
25. Shinsen Subs of Flag is out. http://bt.shinsen-subs.org/[shinsen-Subs]_FLAG_-_01_[A4ACEF86].avi.torrent But i'm abit annoyed that they haven't finished the other stuff they were fansubbing that have finished ages ago and now they are starting with a new one. >_>
