Just got my 51. Generally I like it and yadda yadda.....but since more ppl are insterested with the QC issues, here's on mine: 1.) Left wing can't fold....thus same hinge. Doesn't bother me much though so I don't even wanna fix it. 2.) Stress marks on the back hinge holding the wings. These stress marks look kinda scary as this part will be moved alot to lock the shoulders into place. 3.) One of the landing bay doors on the right leg is loose as hell and doesn't stay closed. I'll fix it with some blue tack or something. 4.) My right hand's complicated shoulder joint doesn't seem to lock. When moving the shoulder, the armpit part moves as well, if you guys know which joint i'm talking about. And everything else...generally its tight and the joints for the hands and legs are tighter than my YF-19 and VF-0 so I'm generally happy with them. I don't have a problem with the missile hard points either. They are generally tighter than the Reactive missiles of the VF-1 which fall off with a slight nudge. Did some barrel rolls and swooshing...missiles stayed in place, though wings tend to fold under weight of a full payload. Dobber: Don't get your problem with the gunpod and magazines. Didn't find any on mine. Did you remember to push the knees in (it was pulled out during transformation to battroid mode) when transforming back to fighter mode?

QFT. I actually just liked the fluff and the designs of them miniatures. The game's rules were just too clunky and time consuming for me. I knew the game wasn't for me when I went to a local gaming guild and saw this 9 yr old kid bringing 5 suitcases worth of miniatures, which his dad helped carry in. Then he started unloading about 5-6 sets of Eldar hovertanks and probably a whole planetary invasion's worth of an army. 0.o

I feel that this is a make or break movie that is gonna happen. It has the potential to rival Starwars in terms of a cult sci-fi movie but there's more ways to fail this movie than to make it succeed so I won't bank on that happening. It'll most likely end as Hollywood trash with lotsa explosions. BUT ZOMG who am I kidding....I so wanna see the SDF-1s main cannons firing and in the distance of space see lotsa explosions. That will be so awesome. But strangely, I feel seeing F-14-esque planes flying in space in live action will look very strange. It works in anime but LA.....i dunno.

Guess Simon and Nia dies, thus bad end. XD But at least humanity is saved.

Lucky Star is a 4-koma manga (4 framed manga) turned into anime, by the same team that did The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. Its a slice-of-life anime with heavy otaku references and just cute to watch. Non-otakus may want to avoid it as they may not get most of the jokes. Imagine Azumanga Daioh with otaku jokes.

Any source? I could've sworn I saw it in either one of Sadamoto's artbooks (definately not Der Mond cuz I have that) or the Evangelion Design Works book.

Personally I prefer the Moon act one as well. The valk looks more interesting in the strange colors.

OT: But do many ppl here play other geeky boardgames like Settlers of Catan and stuff? I kinda fell out of RPG-ing after my usual GMs retired from GM-ing and had other commitments.

See my post about Rossiu or Rossiu Jr. arriving through warp just in time to reinforce Simon's fleet. And there seems to be considerable change from ep 1 simon's uniform to episode 23's. Either they retconned the uniform or what happens in ep 1 is still long off in terms of chronology.

I believe its all about balance. Too much GAR episodes and the thing would get real old real fast. And the background episodes were necessary to give the world more depth. You can't expect Simon to keep defeating the monster of the week right? About hating superman...well... they wouldn't face this predicament if they stayed underground right? Its a "Matrix" scenario. They rather live their ignorant lives underground rather than wait for death to happen. Its underground...but hey...at least we're alive....alives is always better than dead right? A superman example more analogous to simon's situation is like.....Superman killed Lex Luthor who was planning to take over the world....and taking over the world is a bad thing right? But because Lex is dead, his leaderless henchmen decided to start wars around the world and inevitably end the world. Would the world hate Superman? I'd think so, yeah. And they did hate superman a few times in the comics for doing "the right thing". Emo Clark then appears.

Except the 25th Anniversary design isn't owned by Yamato. It was an official Big West scheme.

So most of the Rossiu haters were silenced this episode. I still say mr 1s episode assistant is Rossiu...probably aged and has brought with him a fleet of ships to Simon along with the fleets of other spiral beings. Probably due to some dilation 10-20 years have passed for Rossiu whereas Simon was only 1 year gone from earth. Or maybe its he and Kinon's son. So spiral power is all about sex and manly hotbloodedness? I knew this show had innuendos everywhere. Does anyone think Viral despite being a beastman is able to procreate naturally due to Lord Genome's lil experiment?

And also Hasegawa owns the design.....so Yamato would have to get the rights from Hasegawa before making it. Chances of it happening are very low.

Well...EVA04 would probably stay more or less same with EVA03. I'm just wondering if they will change the canon that it blew up at NEVADA or will it actually see action.

I couldn't believe a certain superhero died in the movie. Quite very pathetically too.
