HAHAHA! I so saw that coming. I'm no engineer but when I saw that the xwing was gonna be made of wood I knew it was gonna be doomed. The 4 rockets will just tear it apart and even if it doesn't, it probably won't fly straight up for long and may become dangerous as it becomes into a missile or something.

Not entirely magic as I can think of an easy mechanism that does that. But what's the functionality of the flap moving from the bottom leg to the top? Its probably entirely aesthetic.

Any links to said detailed shots? I'm really curious how it works. And about the foot ankle, it looks like an armor flap covers the feet in Unicorn mode but moves upwards in NT-D form to form the traditional feet guard on most Gundams.

The Unicorn Gundam MG looks like you'll have to swap parts between normal mode and NT-D mode. I hope i'm wrong though. I'd expect MG kits to at least have perfect transformation. I'm still curious how the face transforms into the NT-D one though. Apart from the horn opening up into V-fins, the rest of the head looks different.

A toy generally looks cheap when its moulded in a single color because alot of KOs and cheap toys are like that. It really bugs me. Will keep my gil until i see pics of the final product with correct colors. Thanks Graham for letting them know. They probably already know and these are just test shots or something.

I agree on the lack of black on the toy. It looks kinda cheap toyish when its all moulded from the magenta plastic. They should use some black parts from Ivanov, prominently the knees, hands and face, and the top of the heatshield.

Or rather, Simon becomes the Spiral Nemesis and all other Spiral races will converge to destroy him along with earth because his existence will end the universe. Generally the repeating theme here is Spiral beings (humans, sentient beings) are greedy and will always seek to achieve higher goals and greatness and thus, evolution. I'm not sure about this but I think the idea is if spiral beings evolve to their limit, their passionate goals of grandeur will consume themselves and destroy the universe. This ultimate evolution is ironically called the Spiral Nemesis. Yeah very Atlantis-like. The anti-spirals stopped their evolution and took it upon themselves to keep everyone at status quo, so nobody becomes the Spiral Nemesis....which ironically was exactly what Lord Genome was doing by keeping the human numbers on the planet low. So i guess generally the message conveyed here is.....kick reason to the curb....don't let others tell you what's good for you. Fight them if you need to.

Watched it. Really awesome despite having little of the awesome action scenes from the previous episode. This episode was more of a background episode....since the 1st 3 episodes kinda left you in the dark what is going on. Episode 4 sheds more light on this....who is Otoha.....why is he Karas....who's the big baddy....etc. Ep 4 spoilers.

I read an interesting theory in another forum. The events in episode 1 may be an alternate ending if Simon chose to continue the fight and become the Spiral Nemesis. Boota looks at the explosions in the distance and say "All these stars are our enemies....." which Simon later says he'll crush them with space time himself. Fast forward to episode 27, old hobo Simon looks up into the sky with the kid and says "All these stars are our friends....". Interesting.

Yeah seems to be the umpteenth reissue...which pisses me off because when I got mine for a premium price few years back, it was super rare on ebay and from like a year later....they keep reissuing him every year or something along with Wolfwood.

Those were my main qualms along with the fact that they didn't show everybody after that final time skip. Like maybe how Attenbourough died (I can dream) and how the Black Siblings are getting along without their big brother.....Reite coping with life as a single mom....etc. Simon becoming into a recluse doesn't sit well with me either. He should be out there in space uniting the galaxies or something. Maybe the ending format would've been better if they showed screenshots of everyone with little captions explaining what has happened to them during the 20 year time skip with Minna No Peace playing in the background. Yes they were. Go google them. They were also done by Kaiyodo and sculpted by Yamaguchi. Same with the awesome Beyond The Grave one.
