Yes it can. Just turn the joints to get your vertical launch mode. No reason why it can't.

For a "free" stand that comes with a valk, it does its job. What you mean by it can do stuff the yammie stand can't? The Yammie stand is way better than this one in terms of poseability. The SV-51 stand is not "poseable", and seems to borrow the design from the Strike Gundam Zeta Gundam model kit stands. The hinge doesn't move so you will have to remove it and put it back in to get the position u desire. Inability to bank the fighter is a disappointment as well. Not possible to use it for other valks as the "adapter" is designed solely for the SV-51. And no it can't bank.

XDCC bots were way faster. Finally watched it. Manly tears were shed. I feel bad for Yoko though that every man she inspires ends up dead. Well now we have Gurren Lagann's ultimate form....more ass kicking in the final 2 episodes. Boota has super spiral powah. Hmm...so can beastmen have the ability to produce spiral energy later on? I'll be able to shed some light on that. APPARENTLY, The term GAR originally was coined by one of those weirdos on 4chan image boards. He meant to comment that he was "Gay For Archer" but he typoed and instead typed "I am gar for Archer". Archer was in reference to a character in Fate/Stay Night visual novels. Archer was deemed one of anime/game/manga's most manly of men and commands a sense of manliness and heroism that rivals Arnie. His eventual fate apparently caused "manly tears to be shed". The rest was history. I think the GaoGaiGar reference came later since his name happened to be Gar and he was off hotblooded nature as well and that fit the Gar word. So now any person with hotblooded manliness can be used with GAR. Yeah. Its only my right hand's armpit hinge that has this problem. I did a side by side comparison with the left hand and some parts didn't fit well in the right armpit hinge as it did in the left one, so the lock isn't very secure. I can't think of anyway to fix this yet.

The yamato ones are sculpted by Shunya Yamashita....not really a fan of his work. I have the Volks ones. They're huge!

I think that's because in battroid mode, the nose reduces itself so the battroid mode will have a shorter crotch, pretty much like the VF-1. Notice the 4 red diamond sensor things (whatchucallthem) that are there in the fighter mode but 2 are absent in the battroid mode, probably because the nose cone slided inside somewhere below the canopy. And about the legs being small...this is after all the YF-21's sillouhette. It'll look much better if you pull an A stance with it i'm sure. I'm worried about the ball joints on the thigh though. That thing has to be tight otherwise battroid mode will fall on itself. The ankles have to have tight ratchet joints and the thigh swivels (to pull off A stance) SHOULD be ratchets as well. I'm not sure why Yamato never used rachet joints for all their thigh swivels as they tend to get loose easily. My VF-0S is loose as heck and falls easily in gerwalk A stance.

Transformed it for 2nd time today. There is something definately wrong with the armpit hinge for the right hand. Somehow it doesn't align well with the cavity that its supposed to lock with and thus the whole hinge moves if the shoulder swivels. A tad annoyed at this. Its now sitting on a pile of unopened anime-toys in gerwalk mode on a stand. I could just stare at it for hours. Trimmed and placed the stickers too.

Yes i hope he dies. Probably in a Grapal or something somewhere. He gets into trouble with some Anti-spirals. His Grapal becomes heavily damaged and a red button flashes in front of him. Everyone tells him not to press it....but Attenborough being him, will go "FIRE!!!" and press it and self destructs taking out the Anti-spiral flagship with him.

Well finally they meet their match. I'm so glad Darry didn't die. Yoko and Kittan seems to have something going on soon....i'm sure Kittan will pull a "I can't be like Kamina....but I would like to try" line somewhere. And I thought my mind was playing tricks on me when all the Gurren Dan's mechs were same sized as the Arc Gurren....but noo....somehow Cathedral Terra has some Protoculture manufacturing facilities on board and produced Arc Gurren sized ganmen in a jiffy. 0.o Now if only they'll kill off Attenborough.....
