Hey me too! I played the Macross game again 2 days ago and realised about the logo having a similar skull. Its probably a skull of some animal or something.

Is this a new VOTOMS anime or the old one?

That and it also looks like Simon's captain GARlock outfit.

Probably ripped from the trailer. It has the "swooshing" sound at the end where the logo appears. Its mono afterall. I don't expect a good quality file until the CD appears.

Just got my Rei. She's the best articulated Rei I have that's close to the character, the other being my Volk's which is a little more to the cutesy chibi type. The pose she can pull is cute and sweet. She even has a sad forlorn look. But something I realised while playing with her, her thighs can't move backwards. I can't do a split . Generally the thigh articulation is really limited so I can't do some "cute poses" that I intended. Oh well.

And the enemies were unimaginative cube drones or something. Pretty meh production if you ask me. As for 30+ g turns, 500+ kph to 0 in milliseconds, that's inertia canceller for you. As for zero damage when crashing into buildings etc.....that's SWAG armor for you. Welcome to Macross and Overtechnology.

Well....what's the best 3D/2D integration for you, chrono, out of curiosity? I thought Mac F although isn't WETA/Hollywood standards is still pretty decent for a TV series anime. And MacZero had alot more time for them to get the rendering right. Mac F probably learnt alot from the Aquarion production (as well as the doomed KISS DUM project) which felt like a testbed for their CG abilities. And a high budget 2D film with 3D which I thought sucked a** was TITAN A.E. You could actually feel the scene lag when the blue energy aliens appeared.

Almost all my games I get an S....despite getting chopped up a little in damage. I thought the game's kinda easy compared to Zero. Played it at normal difficulty.

Hi guys....as some might know we are gonna host a sorta mini convention down at KL , about 2 weeks from now. I'm trying to source misc. Macross videos to be shown as trailers before the screening of DYRL?. I got a hold of a few like the M3 OP, the YF-21 Yamato toy, the hilarious Mac Zero DVD commercial and the VF-X game OPs. But going through youtube I can't find the gems like the old Takatoku advertisments for the chunky monkey VF-1s. If anybody can help point me where these vids are (are the imacross servers still up?) or contribute some vids would be highly appreciated. Anything and everything about macross is welcome.

I just saw the VF-X Digital Mission game's ending and realised that the 4 idols singing the Only You song did the mic twirling thing just like Sheryl did. Another homage. Search for it on youtube since evil mods dont' allow youtube links.

Geez graham you VF-17 freak. Good catch though. It would seem the whole forearm piece is missing from the animation. Probably when making the trailer they forgot about it and since its too fast nobody's gonna realise it (other than the amazing Graham ). EDIT: I also found out that the moment the VF-171s let out their missile barrage during Sheryl's singing, the forearms are missing but they're still there just before they launch the missiles. 0.o

That's what I thought. ANd unlike Dio's elaborate theories....i just thought its De Culture = The Culture =DA KALCHA. So its like Zentraedi hears singing and they go "ZOMG ITS THE CULTURE!! " Macross 7's fleet of the strongest Women had it too.

I want option parts to upgrade it into the VF-22. In the original obsolete sculpt they included the extra head and cockpit canopy didn't they?
