Cyclone by any chance does this contain all the removed scenes and dialogue that was removed when turned into robotech??? More correctly is this the version of macross that actually had english voice actors? Though not as great as the original voice actors. I know some time back a version was floating around of Macross in English and got to see the english version when I was work rostered to the Fillippine Islands up in Manila around '85

All valid points. As long as megatron's size as a robot is comparable to prime as a MP piece then as a gun or tank it should not matter. The cops must be smoking weed if they take a guy with an oversized gun that has a glassless scope and oversized barrel extension and cumbersome stock seriously. The main selling point for me getting a mp prime was his uncanny resemblance to that of the cartoon. (the old comic version had yellow eyes for prime.. other versions of G-1 prime had a "mouth" lacking his face plate drawn almost like an xmen character,organic) If megatron was based as a gun, then IT would be wise to make him look like the cartoon, even just in robot mode. Shockwave as an MP big pistol would fit as long as he has all the trimmings of his G-1 toy counterpart plus more LEDS like in the eye or as a gun. As with autobots I guess the alternators are great, though things like sideswipes new transformation needs a little adjusting to (the way he transforms seems more suited to his brother "sunstreaker" who has his chest as part of the windshield and roof of the car) Personally the Binaltech hound looks close to his old self except as a jeep wrangler.(perhaps chop off the doors,remove the rollcage..pait a star on the front mud guard and presto) IF ever they made a MP or alternator bumblebee it should look like bumblebee in the series as a robot, they can get away making him a new style volkswagon. I coul live with that. Also with gestalts, In the past I have seen takara make huge non transformer toys that combine into something much bigger than anything from bandai's Power Rangers(which I happily pass up.) It shouldn't be too in concievable to release at least one or two of earlier gestalts or if it is cheaper for one robot a Large fortress transformer?

Wait a minute didn't we see thundercracker, skywarp, bumblee bee and possibly wheeljack or jazz in the old cybertronian vehicle modes? Not sure about megs? anyone read the old marvel comics? I think there were a few pics on who transforms to what in the first few issues? (will someone confirm that?? My whole collection got pinched when I moved house) I mean does anyone here have a complete listing of what autobots are gonna be up as alternators or masterpiece?? A logical assumption would be an equal amount of decepticons vresus autobots if ever they made remakes? Fully articulate constituent transformers that make up gestalt transformers would also be nice I mean like a menasor with an "actual" movable head or any of the aerialbots able to bend their ams or knees I agree with megs as a good piece to even out prime/convoy If not megs, what about galvatron as not to offend the "gun" size "officionados"? Pity takara may not pay attention to as us much as yamato may on these forums? (or can someone correct me on this..)

abrams or merkava you pick what looks best to run over civilians that would suit megs if His gun could fire. good idea guys on the desert eagle with scope, it would be possible to make him look close to his old self in robot mode,be great if he is chromed. Hmm omega supreme,tripticon or metroplex MP..

A 1/48 elint seeker would be nice. good point mentioned. bandai should get off their laurels and produce new VF-1 s.

well I apologise to Takara and all those who hate my guts, If I did something wrong Tell me so I won't do it again.. I know this ain't macross related but just curious that is all. Dont Mind if megatron was upgraded even to a .44 Automag even an over sized walter p38 it is fine by me. (maybe those add on parts can be used somehow to contribute to his height) personally I'd like meg's eyes to light up an evil red glow, that would be most deserving. (did shockwave have his eye glow in the old toy release?) As with other decepticons, starscream would be logical alternative It would be great as long as he can bend his l legs in jet mode like in the cartoon.(sorta gerwalk like) Soundwave as a "real" mini cassette player would be awesome to behold, battery operated of coz. (nice pics king nor, do you by any chance know a guy called charles peralta on deviant?)

ok the MP convoy/Optimus Prime and a few re done autobots/cybertrons have been released isn't It about time they make Decepticons/destrons??? even just a MP megatron would be great..

If they do make large hands then that is ok, personally I'd like the idea of spare hands with movable fingers a slight re design of yamatos VF hands where the pinky and index finger is bent more uniformly to the other fingers sorta like fingers on some gundam hands or like was said earlier the Convoy masterpiece collection hands. (or even like those toynami Vf hands if all else is not considered)

Thanx evil Monkey.. Hope they release it soon. I still use my old Thrustmaster and cheap "topgun" joystick. Not as good as the f16 hotas stick but servicable.(even without rudder pedals.) If they do make a good conversion for falcon, they should include a map editor and at least a glaug to pilot if ever a death match version ever arose. anyone got the URL HL mod for macross? is it any good? still looking for the flight unlimited valk add on..

does anyone here have instructions on how to dissasemble the upper leg of the yamato 1/48? My valks legs sorta became real stiff to move and I just found out that a bit of the rubber things are protruding out of the legs. I need to get at that inside leg assembly holds the balls of that T section inside the upper legs.

With the 1/48 hands have you guys tried making your valk hold the gunpod with both hands with the right hands index finger on the trigger? I know what you mean by "it holds its pointed slighly downward." Skull-1 how do pose your valk holding the gun? chest level,hip level,? The hand on the 1/48 that supports the gun doesn't seem to "craddle" it as much as the toynami version (get both hands from each toy and see for yourself.) perhaps Yamato would make nice generic mecha hands(movable fingers) for all their mech lines similar to some gundam kits.Some of those hold their guns real well. As with Imai I think it was dead, sorry for the confusion. I'd like to know who picked up their cast molds for mospeada and orguss? Thanx graham for the info on the mospeada line, guess toynami it is.
