I just got the FP stands a couple months ago and knowing about the paint issues, I try to move my valks around every couple of days/weeks. That, and I try not to lay the valks down on the stands with the tampo/paint/colored parts touching the rubber/silicone nubs. Haven't had any issues up to this point. (Knock on wood...!)

So I made it to the Post Office with time to spare and got my box of goodies... hauled ass back home to do the initial inspection... and "We're GOOD!!" Nothing broken,no scratches, and good tight joints!!! Gonna leave the inspection of my 2nd RVF to later on tonight, but i couldn't wait to transform this puppy into Battroid mode...! But for now, here are some pics for those who are waiting for the mailman to come!! Enjoy! Gotta say....Good looking Messiah..! Diggin' the Color scheme...!

LOL, I would not risk having the mail man leave it on your doorstep, maybe with the neighbor?? lol I live in Tacoma,Wa. and its 2:30 pm here now, I always go to the post office around 4pm to pick up packages and they know me pretty good there since Im always there.

got my pink slip in the mail this afternoon for my HLJ package, but I have to wait another hour and a half for the delivery truck to make their rounds and return to the post office so I can pick it up!!! ARRGHH~~~!!! :wacko: Guess I can go and camp out in fron of the post office now...

Cool set up plastik! Are those light LED?? I might want to get me a pair or two. Where did you get them? Yeah that's the hard part when adding more detolfs, you gotta have something to fill them up with! Lol how are your vf-1s standing up like that? Wire hangars? Picture frame stands? I've always liked how valks standing up like that next to each other look.

I think websites like NY are on the other hand not that affected by these cancelations and are quite busy selling everything else in the kitchen sink, other than just dx chogokins. I'm pretty sure it's not such a big deal to them. Eventually they always end up selling and getting rid of their stock. Bandai's aren't the only popular collectible out there and I think it's only a small fraction of their immense inventory. They should be aware of the competition and market that is out there and not take big risks so as to come out loosing if they had to lower the price on over stock. Meaning..... I'm sure this isn't their first rodeo.. Lol

yeah, i Have 2 VF-25F pre-orders with NY and after getting luca at retail from HLJ, it makes me want to cancel, but I think im gonna wait until the last minute to see if I can score some from HLJ...my new favorite camping site..! :ph34r:

yeah, they told me the same thing, but i just kept emailing them back with reasons and stating that i got it cheaper form somewhere else, and after a whole day of back and forth, they gave in and refunded me my cash, but it took a bit to see it back in my bank.

No prob. Plastik. I had the same problem when we moved to a one bedroom and I lost my studio/model shop/man cave and the only room for my detolfs was by the windows. I used "black magic" tint film from Walmart. They are inexpensive and easy to install. I found it easier to install the film with the glass sides off. I only put them on the side the sunlight would hit them the most. It's a bit off topic so it would be nice to devote a thread especially for this because I know most collectors here have detolfs with the same issues.

yellowing alert!! you might want to try and cover the right side of your detolf with some 35 % window tint to prevent yellowing...! I have my detolfs next to windows so i covered them up and it works like a charm!
