    Thanks Jenius. Good to know the stand or gunpod doesn't totally hinder the head. No rush on the review, which would be more than welcome by the fan-dom... You guys made me pull the trigger on DHL...used my ami points and ended up as ~4900 yen plus for 2 valks by DHL, which was ~340 yen more than SAL..... now only to wait till the 3rd when ami comes in!! gah.......

    Jenius, will you be doing a vid review or is that something i shouldnt even ask? Could i ask if you could show in fighter mode, for the head popping out and turning gimmick is affected with the attached display stand, or if the gunpod attached in fighter mode, hinders the head popping out in any way? So far, no video's from JP have even shown that gimmick! *insert valk head shaking in disbelief here*

    Thin box must have split at the seams....too close of a call! No filler's in the box too? Thats one thing you would NOT see from HLJ/Ami/CDJ... Its a lovely thing to open a box packed carefully....makes you appreciate the purchase more...

    Thanks shizuka! Gotta revisit that scene agai!...If bandai does release the 1/48 M&M's Max it be cool to recreate that in a flying dio...then we will need a 1/48 Q-rau too! Nice close-ups! Certainly painted a better picture of the leg fins..i was wrapping my head around how jenius described to push the fins in... Bandai should relook at how they do hinges (and also pilot sizing for that matter). The VF-1 leg fins were certainly the last thing i expected to need careful adjustments..

    Thanks for the confirmation, so it seems tucked in arms don't hinder the neck pop out the head in fighter mode.. If i remember correctly, the dogfight scenes in M0 had valk head turning in fighter mode, but not in SDFM/DYRL...If wrong do correct me MW'ers..

    Nice pics! That balancing pose got me wondering how you did it Then remembered its all a matter of perspective! Pretty sure this is a "leap" in the right direction in terms of articulation...bandai got all the hinges in the right places, tight and sturdy... And yes, gerwalk mode sure is a looker...really makes me wish i got 2 more...for 3 modes and 1 MISB...

    Happy new year MWF! so many awesome new valk pics! DHL came thru over the new year ... Anyone gonna attempt cockpit decaling? And boy for something the DX 1J does that no other(?) valk does, no one (on the net) is putting up pics of it? Hint * gerwalk laser cutters* even in all vids reviews was it even shown?

    Yeah i got ripped off... Waited to see if the 19 armaments did fit, and indeed they did! However, CDJ's points made me take the plunge on the missile set so, it is what it is... Plus i have a choice of boxed or missile bunch too....so errr....whoopee to me... To console myself i shall take note in the fact that i can now put the 1/48 missiles (logically speaking) on a 1/60 valk......ahem...big deal eh...

    Nostalgia overload hearing the spring kicking the gears and doors (forgot it did doors too!) for landing gear deployment. Fingers still flinch whenever i see the front gears open. Lets see a modern valk do that! Ominous sign?? After/If(?) kawamori san retires, will he be able to carry on the valk designs?
