  1. Hi everyone... I haven't read thru the whole thread but as long as people are not being rude or impolite to each other, there's no rules against people being disappointed with the looks of a product. Although, I do agree with the whole "say your piece and move on" mentality. But with an item like this that rightfully gets attention, good or bad... you're not going to avoid the constant influx of different people checking in and saying what they want to. That is all... this is in response to a report turned in that wasn't targeting a specific post. That cat pic is disgusting though... do we really have to put each other thru that?
  2. Nicely done mustang1... great to see you posting again. Take some money shots with a plain background so we can post it on FB!
  3. I agree... this is Early 2000's type of engineering as far as transforming toys.... Kinda glad. It frees up some cash as far buying multiple Hi-Metal Regults and CF VF-1s.
  4. I'm OK with that... We're halfway thru Oct...
  5. Bought! but only if there's a pull string that makes him say "CAARRRRL!"
  6. Fargo Season Premiere was great. I think the cast has a lot of mediocre actors that will actually turn out pretty good on an ensemble like this. Patrick Wilson was never really that strong but he seems to be doing OK as the younger Lou Solverson. (That's not his diner is it?) But lots of great actors in the cast too. Nick Offerman aka Ron Swanson!

Me too. I wanted the Hikaru VF-1S since the first time these came out. I told myself I was only getting Hikaru's valks back then since he'll have all the types. But this time around with all the different mechs... it's going to be hard to stay within those perimeters.

I'm buying it because Loop's buying it... he seems like a smart guy...
  9. The plan was pure crap, it really did take a lot of suspension of disbelief but everything around it was great. First of all, why set loose a billion ( ) walkers that can wipe out any remaining humanity in its path? But everything else was good tv. Everything depended on the plan going 100% without fail so all the trust had to be there, but then the show revealed all the conflicts between the character, so the whole time you're just wondering who the hell is gonna muck it up or sabotage it. All the little interactions in the flashbacks really made this episode that at the end you just had to go with Rick's plan, no matter how ridiculous it was just to see it play out. Honestly, I would have sent those walkers on the roundabout off the cliff within the quarry where those walkers in the beginning fell. There was no reason to spread them out in the wilderness like that.
  10. That's gonna be a great piece!
  11. Excellent. You need to make the 1/60 Macross Zero Monster next!
  12. Well, they couldn't get Heisenberg for Lex Luthor so they got the next best thing... Eisenberg... and if you think that's funny, even the promo pics calls back to the meth man himself...
  13. Hey GU... if you're going to post non macross stuff, attach it to a thread that's already started or it'll get moved or locked. Either the workbench thread or one of the tips thread. As for the toy, you'll have to test a small section before covering the whole thing. I suggest testing Duplicolor's Acrylic enamel clear coat. They have matte and gloss and they are sold in most auto parts store.
  14. His remake of Hara-Kiri was unusually subdued, I think it's his best movie. But I think with the fantastical nature of BotI, he'll go towards the schlock approach. Hopefully not.
  15. Man... all that tampo does make the valk. Looking at valkyries without the markings is like watching movies without music. Great pic!

  17. Man...those explosions would spice up any display!
  18. Japanese director Takashi Miike, known for such films as “Audition” and “Ichi the Killer,” is set to adapt Hiroaki Samura’s long-running manga “Blade of the Immortal.” Published from 1993 to 2012, the supernatural manga follows the cursed samurai Manji, who must kill 1,000 evil men in order to regain his mortality. The story was adapted in 2008 as television anime series. Popular Japanese singer and actor Takuya Kimura, nicknamed Kimutaku, will star as Manji in the live-action film, set for release in 2017. A member of the Japanese idol group SMAP, the 42-year-old Kimura appeared in 2010’s “Space Battleship Yamato,” and voiced Howl in “Howl’s Moving Castle.” http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2015/10/05/takashi-miike-to-adapt-blade-of-the-immortal/ I don't see it...
  19. All of a sudden the price originally planned back then wasn't that bad... http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/news/_news_n052.htm I'll do the same with mine.
