  2. Dunno about that. Lasse is doing double duty as both Ptolmey 2's helmsman and gunner.
  3. Again, the novel (like the manga) follows it's own path. Ozma's VF-171 had an EX-Gear in the flashback when the VF-171s at the start of the show didn't. I would say that was a animators' shortcut since they were using VF-171EX-render already (fix will come on the DVD ). But back to the topic. All the documentation I've seen says that the VF-171 does not use a EX-Gear implementation. The VF-171EX is suppose to have inplemented that system into the VF-171 design. Now since this is a fan-fic you're working on, you can use the novel's direction or the animation's direction. It's your fan-fic. Pick whichever suits your story.
  4. Seriously, I should really just ban any crap from 4chan...
  5. Now we know how 0 Riser connects to 00 Gundam. And 00 Gundam the GN Sword II also subs for a large GN beam saber. http://www.amiami.com/shop?vgForm=ProductI...ate=review.html
  6. Have you tried the links in the first post of all the episode threads? We have links to the sites there as well as links to the subbers' websites.
  7. Just to end the small debates on a few things from the DVD/Blu-ray Vol. 2 liner notes. 1) The VF-25's gunpod opens that lower cover for cooling. 2) The knife can be used in combination with a pin-point barrier. 3) The VF-25 has a pin-point barrier system. Mentions it's usage with the shield and reinforcing the knife.
  8. The long pegs that attach parts is how they stick together. There is a way to fix this. Sand or shave the pegs down to a point before you snap the pieces together. This will allow you to ease them apart should you need to. , you notice that the builder shaves the pegs and does a test fit with the pieces of Calamity Gundam. You should do this as well. It makes things easier when you need to pull non-moving sections apart.
  9. It's an add-on to 00 Gundam (like a G-Defensor/G-Falcon).
  10. 1) Use the newbie thread for questions like this. 2) Off the top of my head, http://www.cdjapan.co.jp http://www.hmv.co.jp http://www.yesasia.com http://www.amazon.co.jp
  11. I prefer this translation of the last line kresphy postedas opposed to a Babelfish: It would be nice to see the full article.
  12. Strike Rouge is identical to Strike. Just look for a review of Strike. Now for an upcoming models image flood. 13. Let's see... Watched Robotech back in the day when it was still on TV. Discovered the RT RPG about 5+ years later and learned about Macross, Southern Cross and Mospeada. Since I couldn't see the original Macross, I moved on to MII. That lasted a while with the RPG books. Then I found M+ and found that to be bleh. Obtained a copy of DYRL? raw shortly thereafter. Then I heard about M7 through friends and various people. After that, I slowly started watching M7 raw and became hooked. About that time, I discovered the Compendium back when Egan was at UC Berkeley. So I think I was well versed in Macross before I the 'Net came along. There was also a Jetfire and a few other toy knockoffs but I really don't remember when those came into my life.
  14. I think he's just teasing the article writer/reader.
  15. Umm yeh, we know.
  16. Jeebus....can they hurry up with the the VF-1 already? We're never gonna be done with that VF...
  17. 0 Riser (our new GN Arms). Technically a toy ad but it's appeared in the TV commercial spots so expect to see it in the show really soon. And yes, the show is taking Code Geass R2's spot on the schedule so it starts on this Sunday (10/5) at 5PM/17:00 JST (that's 1AM PST/4AM EST or 12AM PST/3AMEST after Daylight savings).
  18. With all the other shows on Mondays, it's kinda hard to compete.
  19. You could have said she was a street fighter/brawler and got the same meaning.
  20. 25-episode series is actually the norm these days.
  21. Okay kids, let this thread go back to sleep until we get some actual news about a live action Robotech movie.
  22. I don't recall the specs ever listing the ammo count on the 19's or 21's gunpods. I always thought that was a RPG thing.
  23. Unfortunately, we have a certain bias on this board.
  24. You sure it wasn't done off screen and it wasn't just put off to the side?
