Macross Frontier Movie 1,YES it is subbed now edition
azrael replied to sharky's topic in Movies and TV Series
Whoa, even that's not right. The movie came out in Japan on November 21st, 2009 and it only had a limited theater showing which just got expanded in mid/late December. We don't have a DVD/Blu-Ray release date yet SO STOP ASKING. When we are informed of a home video release date, someone will post it here or in the Scoopa thread. -

Well, Caprica is BSG...without the Battlestars, and a host of other things. -

Yes, it is very simple. Be sure you unplug all power cables, then remove it. Also, be sure the PSU fits otherwise, you'll have spent that money for nothing. All you should need to do is just drop in the new video card and the new card should take over for video. -

I'm gonna have to agree with you there. As much as it's nice to see her without clothes...there's just something about a hot chick with glasses and her hair arranged neatly. -
They just have to put out a product every years (oh look "Stealth Veritech"), or license out something. Oh wait, that's the "Macross"-trademark side of things. Since they own the copyright to RT, they don't really have to do a thing. But since RT is made up of that infamous trio-of-shows, and they need to, in some respect, maintain the trademark so they just need to put out a product or something to uphold it.
-
Actually, it's 3rd-party international licensing and real estate. The only reason to keep Robotech going is to uphold their trademark. If they don't, they lose it.

Battlestar Galactica Discussion III
azrael replied to kaiotheforsaken's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Nope. RDM has come out saying "Daniel" is NOT Starbuck's father. In the commentary/Podcast for "Island in a Stream of Stars", he will point this out. So don't worry about the "Daniel" model. In fact, delete it from your head. -

What model of cable modem is this (maker/model)? -
Battlestar Galactica Discussion III
azrael replied to kaiotheforsaken's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Yeah, you might want to watch this episode again for good measure. Sam spits out a lot before the surgery which gives you much of the info about how the humanoid Cylons came to be. Much of what Sam and the Hybrids spit out is "word salad", there are a few spots of coherent phrases, but most of it can be ignored. -

Out of curiosity, does the cable modem have a control panel page, i.e can you access the cable modem's setup page via a browser or through some software, and check to see if it has Ethernet connectivity enabled? Nope. It's to power a fan if one was installed on the card. Some GeForce 6200s came with a fan attached to the heatsink. No. As of Windows XP (or was it 2000), you can make a pagefile on another partition or disk. It would be silly but yes it's valid. However, as of Windows XP, disk partitioning somewhat hindered performance since XP (and beyond) optimizes disk usage using the swap space. So in the end, it's not really worth it to create a separate partition for the page file. Considering drives are plenty big now, I no longer put swap files on their own partition. I just make the OS partition large enough to hold the page file. -

Anything we say will probably ruin it so I'll just say, KEEP WATCHING but there's a little from column A, column B, and column C. What those columns are...well, you'll find out. Keep watching. Caprica's pilot episode is on Hulu so you can catch it there, then come join us here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18847 And there's nothing you really need to carry over from BSG to Caprica. -
If it was stolen from plans, then that wouldn't make it the first VF, now would it? As I said, the SV-51 is the first combat VF. Also, the Macross Mecha Manual is a fan site and hasn't been updated in a while. Mr. March hasn't been around which is why it probably hasn't been updated.
-
The Chronicle reinforce the point out that the SV-51 is the first combat VF (on the SV-51 sheets) and it does have slower transformation times due to its larger airframe. I'm not sure however about the fuel-part. I don't recall seeing that.

What? You don't believe us when we say she's dead? Trust us, she's dead. -
There's a nice little chart in Great Mechanic DX #4 which sketchley partially translated. http://www.macrossroleplay.org/forums/index.php?topic=2385.0 SV-51, VF-0 --> VF-1 --> VF-4, VF-5000, VF-9, VF-3000 --> VF-11, VF-14 --> VF-19, VF-22 -->VF-25, VF-27. The VF-17 and the VF-171 kinda fits in between the VF-11 and the VF-19, on its own line. Since the VF-17 was a Special Forces unit, it doesn't quite fit in the main line. And since the VF-171 is derived from that and is a mix of the VF-11/VF-14-era and the VF-19/VF-22-era, it's somewhere in-between.

472m is the size in ship mode. The 400m-figure has, as much as I've read, is the size-class of MQ. For example, the Guantánamo class ARMD carriers are also in the 400m-class because its size is... ~400m.
