Graham, Any way you can swing a group buy for MW members with Yamato? I'm sure they can send you a bulk package! I need some a lot of these!

Went toy hunting with another HK MW member today and saw these and the Revoltechs. It appears to be slightly larger than the Revvies; even the VF-11B looks bigger then the Revvie VF-1. Finish is WAY BETTER than Revvies ABS rocks PVC hard! You can just tell in the sculpts. Looks way more solid and defined. Clean paint jobs Crisp tampo printing Good solid colors Sculpt looks great - VF-11B never looked better! Much better than the old Yamato 1/72 in Battroid! My favorite in this scale next to the Revvie Regult. Cheap compared to 1/72 and larger size toys - ~ the same price as the smaller revvies here 15-20 USD each or a VF-1 Hasegawa kit. Cons: Small - Close to a 1/144 scale model ~ 4-5"? Nontransforming Not enough panel lines compared to larger brothers but the quality is way up there. Don't know about articulation since I just examined the boxed contents next to all the Revvies. Personal opinions: I think they look great next to Revvies and CMs Macross figure set but these things get expensive if you have "collect them all and custom variant syndrome". Still on the fence on these for my personal collection as I rather put my money towards 1/72 or larger scale detailed toys / model kits. Bigger is better if you can afford it and have space for it.

Is there a list of the differences by time between movie and ova? I wonder if someone can perform a fan edit - extended cut edition with all the extra movie / ova bits cut into a new remaster.

Anime accurate DYRL Max VF-1S?

007-vf1, There is only 1 tread out now and thats from CMs. It doesn't look bad but is expensive and the locking mechanism is a hack at best to their Legioss fighter. Checkout Jenius site for the tread review and pictures.

Multiple sets of 001 setup as a 1/48 hangar - found these super cheap with no accessories with another MW member. Needs detailing but good for a basic framework. Get at least 4 sets to accomodate a 1/48 or 1/60 in battroid mode.

NB4M, Guys like Godzilla and Kensei have their Valkyrie squadrons stripped and waiting to be customized into 2 seaters! Release it already before we all drop mad dollars into the 1/60 line! Great job! Can't wait for it.

Correction. I just checked my Ghost combos because there were 2 blisters - ghost in blister sits on top of the VF-0. There is a single layer of tape on the VF-0 itself, and on top where the ghost blister sits, a 2nd layer of tape runs down over the ghost blister and over the original VF-0 tape, so the 2 tapes are in a straight line. Again, onn all 4 sides. Single line or as close as possible to this. The VF-0S and VF-0A with no ghosts only has a single layer of tape on all 4 sides.

Correct, VF-OS with Ghost has all the fixes. If you can inspect the box before buying, you can check if it is factory fresh. The VF-OS blister has a SINGLE layer of tape on it, on all 4 sides. All Valkyries produced at and after the VF-OS 1.0 has this. If you have 2 - 3 layers of tape on the blister, then beware of possible rework by the factory or swappage. All of my 4 VF-0S ghosts and 2 VF-0A with ghosts has a single layer of tape.

The VF-0S 2.0 has not been released yet! It will be this month in Asia so you can figure it out from the dealers who will >re-stock< it. Most will not inform consumers if its version 2.0 to get rid of the old 1.0 stock.

Battroid mode looks skinnier than the old 1/60? Legs looks a bit skinnier compared to 1/48s or maybe its the angle of the shots. Likes: New head sculpt. Yay for no more front seam! Smaller chest looks great in battroid. New sculpted hands Irridescent coating - I love it. Just like those gold coated - anti-radar F16s! Improved thruster sculpts - always love this design more than the fan jet type Removable fusalage! Better posability than 1/48 Pilot sculpt - more detailed than the VF-0, YF-19 pieces of painted booger. Even Hasegawa's 1/72 has more defined details. Mega tampo printing! Dislikes Fighter proportions still looks off to me - Too used to seeing the perfect Hasegawa and 1/48 mode here. Perhaps a 2nd longer nosecose for fighter mode Legs too skinny - don't know about this one Wishes to be confirmed or dis-confirmed: Super tight feel! Can't have any more of that VF-0 or YF-19 1.0 floppiness, especially if they scaled down a 1/48! Rachet Joints! No need to explain why Side parts - but I guess it will be included in the 1/60 2.0 GPB-1S kit How about a RUB ON DECAL sheet instead of waterslides or stickers? It doesn't cost that much more and improves the dress up so much!

What size are these? ~ 1/100 or 1/72? Articulation looks pretty good!

Current VF-0S Release 1.0 Current VF-0A Release 1.0 Current Shin VF-0A Ghost Combo Release 1.5 Current Focker VF-0S Ghost Combo Release 2.0 with all the fixings - supposedly The VF-0S standalone I heard is scheduled for release 2.0 but don't know the exact date yet. Same for the VF-0A standalone and VF-0A Shin Ghost Combo. I'm guessing after the 2nd issue of the YF-21 due to demand, and GNU figures. Don't hold me to this as I'm still waitng to buy the VF-0A standalone and praying for the VF-0D Buy the 0S combo as a safe bet, skip the rest or just by extra arms but you need to know the 1.0s don't have locking feet in battroid! You should check if you can order extra feets / thrusters. I will check both of my Shin VF-0A combos this weekend and report back. BTW: I currently like the VF-0s more than my 1/48 VF-1 collection! ... sad but the new sculpts just rocks hard.

So the Revoltech are ~ 1/72 scale? 200 / 3 = ~ 70! Hmm... I might need to pickup the Revoltechs to match my models! Sorry offtopic!

These 3 are hands down better than Yamato's weathered customs! The TV Max with the preshading (or is it post) and SUBTLE, not overdone panelining is just awesome. That Low Vis 2 custom really would sell more of the LV2 if it had matching fast packs and weathering! More hires pictures without the fast packs and some gerwalk mode! You guys do great work! West Side...................!

Are these the same size as the Revoltechs? Damn, another scale to think about. The VA3 Invader looks SWEET! Hope Yamato still has the VF-X license and will produce it in 1/60!

Well, Yamato has the 1/200 gashapons which includes a lot of the VF-X variants so hopefully they will be smart and milk the molds with VF-22S variants! And I hope that translates to VF-19A Excalibur, Super Novas and etc..!

As most have said already, relatively easy to make custom if you have all the parts. Can be done with some painting and stickers or if you're a perfectionist, then swap parts between two Valkyries and just repaint only the arrow on the head. I need to finish my second Max 1S and will some pictures later.

Don't badger me for those 001 wings, black heatshields and VF-1S heads yet! I'm working on a new solution for you 1S customizers. Broken Valkyries get first priority!

Can someone scan the blue sleeve at 600 DPI for the rest of us? I want to mock up my own custom weathered VF-1 squardron set. At the original price, it was a deal! At the ebay prices, better to buy one from Kurt, Jung or other customizers instead for the level of quality with custom decals.
