  1. ^Regarding the loose ankles, both mine were loose right out of the box. As for that piece that acts as part of the neck in fighter, I too thought mine had come dislodged as it wouldn't go back into the neck and sit flush. Turns out though that all you have to do is really "coax" it in there, as when the piece comes out to become part of the battroid, it leverages out on an extension piece that's usually hidden within the neck of the fighter mode. So really, you just have to make that extension piece go back into the neck!
  2. The weapons are all clip on right? Then I think they might be able to work, so long as no hardpoints are necessary. I dunno for sure though
  3. Law of Ueki. I don't know why, but I like it a lot...
  4. I don't think the UI is that bad. But yeah, even on console, there are improvements that can be made. In general, when one equips a sword of some kind, it auto's either a shield or a spell of its own choice to the other hand, meaning that corrections and whatnot need to be made. In general, to cope with this, I only keep 2 weapons, 2 - 3 spells, and 2 special abilities (Beast form and Unrelenting Force) in the menu.
  5. Yeah, both VF5SS and raptor one have valid points. IIRC, Macross 7 was a LOT more popular in Japan than stateside. That probably warrants making the -19 and -17 for thousands of fans rather than a few lads here in the U.S. Beyond that, a lot of people did abstain from voting for either -17 or -19 because Graham had already hinted at their making by then.
  6. Actually, I don't think the VF-17 was the top choice decided by the poll that Graham hosted like a year or so ago. I believe that amongst all the options, the VF - 4 and VF - 2SS got a majority of the votes (each about half of the majority), followed closely by the VF-0D option. Funny enough, the VF-19 and VF-17 were some of the LOWEST scorers in terms of interest regarding the poll, and those are the two being made Back on topic though, how are you guys deciding between the VF-19S and the VF-17S. they both are REALLY cool in my mind, but I haz enough for only one. I don't think I'm the only one in this predicament. I've had and sold the Fire Valk before, so I'm leaning on buying a VF-17 (to kind of mix things up and get a new mold), although the VF-19S is really cool, and with bolstered ankle joints, my problem with the fire valk, it would be a really nice mold to have back in the hands again. *le sigh*
  7. Actually regarding the MADE IN CHINA sign on the bottom of the wing, its not Tampo Printing. I don't have my VF-19 right now (sold the darn thing), but I know for sure that the MADE IN CHINA was actually raised plastic molded into the underhang of the left wing. So yeah, no way to remove.... unless you want to use acetone of course, but that most likely will take off most of the wing with it as well Also, I think we should all drop the "big gap in chest sucks, the toy is RUINED vs. Yamato is pwnage, how dare you defy" and go back to being nice and constructive
  8. I think it is very possible to fix that gap (one more *click* downwards I think), but honestly, I don't feel as though it REALLY gets to me, making it a deal breaker. But I can see where Jenius is coming from, in that it is what it is, a gap on a $280 toy. Take that as you will I guess.
  9. *Troll face* Yeah, I think we're taking the fact that the thing is a PT for granted cuz its Yamato. Considering the previous Bandai, this is a pretty big feat, even if it is Yamato.
  10. That angle and essence of that pic are pure awesome. I don't even know why I was considering getting the VF-17, this is sooo much cooler. And I agree, I've never seen a cooler head sculpt! EDIT: I honestly wish it was a brighter blue though, akin to the blue presented on the resin prototype. I just really think that a lighter blue is more applicable here...
  11. Sorry for the double post, but I just finished watching episode 4. Honestly, in terms of combat, I thought this was the best episode out of the 4. All the references and allusions to previous series really made it awesome What was that one flying EFSF mobile suit that was ripping the zeon forces apart? In terms of character development though, I REALLY don't like where unicorn is taking Banagher. He started out as just a kid shoved into a mobile suit, being confused, which is understandable. He had REALLY good characterization in the episode just before. But in EP.4, Banagher seemed more akin to Kira Yamato than anything else, just not as good of a pilot
  12. Yeah, I believe there are zeon sympathizers spread throughout both the space colonies and earth, which does make the Fed's job quite difficult. Remember in Episode 2? Neo Char and his lackeys got something akin to a palace in the space colony!
  13. Yeah, I heard that at the Hasbro Investors Meeting, they mentioned that there will be a line designated especially to fall of cybertron toys. So yeah, should be good I think, especially with that new OP design
  14. lol, someone really failed the transformation for Alto. His ventral fins are still sticking out on the legs Also, Ozma looks really cool, but that pose is a little funky
  15. I have PS3, and that happens to me from time to time. I wouldn't worry about it, and unless you know for sure that you're internet connection isn't up to par, its most likely a network issue that Infinity Ward will have to deal with. Actually, this has happened to me before a LOT on COD4. It happened to be a problem with the disc that time. I just gave the disc a quick wipe down, and it worked out find. So yeah, either way, don't sweat it. @David, I actually like the little favorites menu, as although you can't switch between pre-made set - ups, it does let you customize EVERYTHING on the fly, which is kinda cool. And I don't think there are limits as to how many favorites you can have. I don't know about rock joint though. I'm both a warewolf and wood elf, so I don't have to deal with poison or disease.... If it annoys you, you should go become a warewolf!
  16. ^As much as I hope that works out for you , I wouldn't probably wait until then. Literally, you are at a point in the market where ANY reasonably inflated price WILL sell (probably anything around $400 will be an insta-sell), but if you wait too long, then Bandai will most likely flood the market with remaining or newly made stock, heavily depreciating the value of the DX YF-29. Just a thought
  17. I like how they say "Place your order before the deadline to get a special price!" Yeah, a VERY special price indeed Only $516 shipped guys, who wouldn't jump at such a deal
  18. ^How you see online? I must know!! The only stream I heard of was PSN, but that's really twitchy, and rarely seems to work for me (I can't even find gundam unicorn on it right now)
  19. 3 colorways? Sounds exciting, though I don't know how economically feasible that will be unless each on is a REALLY limited release. That snow scheme sounds awesome though
  20. Thanks for the info. I thought Graham was the only insider of Yamato that is a member here. Guess I don't know too much then eh? I hope its a VF-27 though. I think Bandai has perfected that transformation class of fighters that a v.2 vf-27 would be brilliant (and I think it would sell as well). If its a VF-171 though, I'm happy for all the members that are interested (although I personally am not)
  21. Is it a Vf-27 renewal??!!! That would be awesome!!1 Also, yep, birds these days know way more than even we do. Maybe I should consider buying one for my own intelligence gathering purposes. Also, as an honest question, why is macross info so heavily guarded? In gundam, pretty much EVERYTHING about ANYTHING is released WAAAYYY before any of it come out. For example, people know what Gundam AGE 2 and 3 look like, and its only episode 5 or 6. There is also a lot of AGE 2 and 3 merchandise revealed as well. What benefits does a manufacturer get by keeping things secret. I would suspect that if they just come out and say what they will make, they would better be able to guage interest and potential profits, or if the item will tank in sales. Also, it could be used to REALLY hype things up. The version 1 of the VF-25 sold like hotcakes. Although this may be out of desperation by fans, I also believe a component of it is due to the rediculous amount of advertising and what not that they did. Who knows? Clearly, I'm not an economist
  22. I would really love it if they release the Vf-19P with removable speakers I just can't stand those things, and everything awesome about the P is rectified immediately by those horrid portrusions...
