    Finally got the occasion to watch Gundam 0079, the very first show. And well, can't say that i really enjoyed it a lot. It didn't age well at all and god, Amuro must be one of the less likeable main character in anime history.

    So far i'm really, really liking it. Good opening, excellent mechas design, pleasant story....hell, even the fact that the main character is a kid doesn't bother me. Cool stuff. And of course GUNPLA !!

    Sounds like the title of a porn movie. Well, that probably would be huntsmen though.

    Yeah, the 4th episode was good. Well, the action was very good. The story, the dialogues and characters development not so much really. Nothing bad, but i was indeed a wee bit disappointed by that.

    That's one of the main problem with this character. Everything about him is kind of ridiculous. You just can't take him seriously or really listen to him without laughing. Well, like a lot of other things concerning M7.

    Yakitate Japan. That's quite funny to watch. And that's not very often that you can watch an anime about a baker.

    Well, they do make a shitload of money with Gundam kits. So, yeah, i can see why they care so much about this franchise. How the Macross Frontier model kits line did ? Good sales ?

    As the budget for this stuff is probably not really high, well, all in all it's not so bad.

    Akane and kuno are really not bad at all. Both Maison Ikkoku and Inuyasha have "real" ends. Which is no exactly the case with Urusei Yatsura. But concerning the end of Ranma 1/2, as the two main characters are what ? 17 ? i would say that's a good thing that she chose to not marry them.

    When you look at it, most of the main male characters in Macross are douches. Hikaru, Basara, Shin and Isamu are people we definitely would call douchebags i think if we were to met them in real life. Oh i assure you that if i said that he is a douche it's really not because of a single slap. He's immature and douchy a lot, A LOT of time. (remember when he's stuck with Misa in the city during an attack ? Just an example) Movie Hikaru tends to be more like that than Tv-show Hikaru though.

    Well, that's something Hikaru and Basara have in common, they are both pretty much douchebags. (come on, you know it)

    Well, just finished Turn A Gundam. Pretty damn good show, no question, my second Gundam favourite i would say. But i'm really not a big fan of the 49/50 episodes format. 2 seasons of 24/25 or 26 episodes would have been a way better choice in my humble opinion cause writing tends to be a little more consistent and you often have less "useless" (if i dare say) episodes with this format. Anyway, great anime. (the epilogue kinda sucks though)

    Can't blame them for that. I mean, let's be honest here, it is indeed kinda crazy. (250 bucks ? What ?) But well, at least that's an enjoyable madness.

    Turn A Gundam. I like it very much so far, episode 10, even if the whole moustache Gundam design is really not something i can take seriously. But, speaking of design, i totally love the main character's one.

    Well, at least i can laugh when watching a Boll's movie you know, i put his "works" in the "so bad it's fun" category. Bay is beyond that point. You can't even laugh, It's just too bad for that.

    Michael Bay's Transformers, no question. Well, all Bay's movies are more or less crappy but these ones are especially bad.

    I like it fine. Not the best, not the worst of Macross. Main problem is that it struggles to really find its own identity. It's the "Star Trek Next Generation first season syndrome" (STNGFSS ), too much similarities in the writing with its venerable and so popular big brother.

    You would be surprised to see how well a Vajra can cook and do some repair in the house. A hell of a husband, i tell ya. Joke aside i was really expecting some human looking Vajra to make their apparition soon or later and for one of them to end up with a human. Back then, when i first watched this show. Cause well, in the end that's what Macross is all about. To meet new cultures, to fight them a bit before realizing that they are so damn nice and, finally, to share a bed with them. (Global and Britai's story)
