    Great achievement bro!
  2. Another part of the Invid regiss and regent backstory, I believe it was from Jack McKinney's writings is that the Invid (not yet queen) but collective or spirit after encountering or upon encountering Zor was so enamored at him that to be able to "communicate" with him took on the form of a bipedal humanoid form. But as a side effect, cause it to split into male and female. The female of course is the hairless humanoid of varying stature the Regiss. The Regent, well, he appeared as that 20/30 foot tall snail's head/foot bipedal creature.
  3. It made lot'sa sense in the now defunct Jack McKinney novels how the Robetech masters screwed up their "children", the Zentraedi who initially were miners for their Monopole ore then suddenly mindwiped to be their hatchet men for galactic conquest. They also imposed their own caste system in the "Masters" part of the trilogy. Just an allegory of all the events that occurred in ancient and modern human history.

So more bells and whistles huh? Thanks!
  5. The "Uncensored" BD version floors the "unofficial" HK DYRL sub DVD by Animeking. The scratchy fine art of 1984 Haruhiko Mikimoto has a certain beauty that CGI art of the BD Macross pachinko music videos can NEVER match. The DVD, even with upscaling player features still looks smudgy. The BD images looks exactly like the images on the BD case, heck, much much clearer than the pictures on the case. It really holds out on its own comparing the quality visuals of these era's sterile CGI graphics.
  6. Just managed to snag for Y 3500 Macross DYRL BD. The "Uncensored" version and boy does the updated resolution floor my "unofficial" HK DYRL sub DVD by Animeking. The scratchy fine art of 1984 Haruhiko Mikimoto has a certain beauty that CGI art of the BD Macross pachinko music videos can NEVER match. The DVD, even with my player's upscaling features still looks smudgy. The BD images looks exactly like the images on the BD case, heck, much much clearer than the pictures on the case. It really holds out on its own despite it's almost 35 years of creation comparing the quality visuals of these era's sterile CGI graphics. Oh, and Nexx's HMR valk (long azz box!)

Missed the Silvie. Though still available pre owned, I kind of like the blue over the red stripe of Nexx. Btw, any difference between the two(as in accessories (not the color and the pilot that is) ?

Just got my Nexx. Heck, didn't realize the box would be that long!

So you ordered via amazonjp. Hence a less taxing experience from the online shops. Ordering HMRs aren't really a hassle unless it s a popular product. The Destroids for instance never caused a server crash on these online stores. Heck, even the VF1S special anniversary edition Messer took a long time to move. Only the iconic versions sell out faster. Even the chogokin VF1J went kaput on me (already typing the shipping when Amiami pulled the rug on me)and look at their prices now at amazonjp, so it depends on the item and there really IS a demand. You just didn't experience it 'cause of the different venue you used in ordering.

Even hlj? No issue? What's your mbps?
  11. fenrir72

    Hi-Metal R

You didn't experience any issue? Really? Even Amiami acknowledged a "special" link due to the figure's popularity.

For that price range it must always have tracking/registered mail.

25 minutes of waiting and got one order from Amiami.

    Strange. No PO at amiami.

There was a Yamato of it?! Wow!

There was a Yamato 1/60 of it? Wow! Edit: Did a search on it.......that thing sure is mighty purdy! http://news.toyark.com/2012/08/16/yamato-vf4g-lightning-iii-official-images-6318

Planning to (well, not as excited based on the feedbacks here). Their price difference at Amiami is Criminal! The Evo version cost like the same with the HMR version.

    Hi-Metal R

Fiddly? So the Evolution version sucks? Did they adapt the same transform mechanism? I was hoping the much bigger scale would have some advantages over the Bandai version (Mine's (HMR Nexx) in the pipeline btw)

Thanks for the link! So SK lost his notes on this fighter huh? What a storied past indeed.

Get the default one. You won't regret it!

Nostalgia powers up most if not all the buying patterns of the customer. Too bad that only a few would appreciate all the HMR release series. Heck, slapping Macross on an item isn't a sure hit. Dougram is a classic so yes, it sold well. TechnoPolice(BBCrisis progenitor by Artmic) not so much. The Destroids, though cool, well, not as cool as the Valks. Maybe BW should do another anime to get them to sell, focusing on the Destroid as a side story in the original SDF Macross universe.
