To Arcadia: You may have had released one of the most awesome SDF-1 versions ever (since the 1/3000 Takatoku) but your R/D or customer support brain trust leave a lot to be desired! #decal 8 wrong fit. The other decals on the main gun are a bit off alignment and now this! Jeez! I still love you guys! Arrgh!

So for another great mystery to Robotech (the first is where the SDF-1 spacefold drives disappeared to), where those runner part 30 and 32 go to? Seriously, hlj and amiami are so useless on this issue, maybe one member in the site can answer this? 1. They need to be a local Japanese (or someone who can read Nihonggo) and a resident 2. Ordered theirs from Arcadia 3. Kept the order number/code 4. Contact customer support to know where those darn parts go to.

You can take them off? I thought it's permanent?

Anyways, prior to assembling the set, I read 1 horror story that it was a pain to attach the ARMD carriers. It wasn't. All you need to do is just angle the connecting point and it pops in easy. Just make sure you haven't attached the bridge and positioned the rail canons away.

Even Amiami and hlj are no help in contacting Arcadia about those parts. Bummer!

more than 8 cm. ....my point exactly. The skyline decal they used was for the 1/2000 kit.

A poster Agamemnon from seibertron.com gave me a heads up on where the decal#8 is supposed to be applied. Trouble is, the "geniuses" at Arcadia "forgot" to downscale it Based on the 2010 videos of the first release, this decal (Macross City skyline) was never included but now that they did include it, Arcadia forgot to downscale it to 1/3000 as this was designed to fit the 1/2000 kit.........aaaaaaay caramba!

Did you use panel co ver 30 and 32? Where do they attach to?

Decal #8 is different. If I'm not mistaken, it looks like a subdued kaleidoscopes of colors in an L shape cut. Also, the panel covering 30 and 32 seems to go nowhere. Not even mentioned in the instruction sheet.

Do you know where decal#8 goes to?

The Hasegawa ones? Are they compatible? It's 1/4000?

Just received it. Arrgh! Arcadia got the manual folded into the flap during packing! I hope the decal sheet aren't that damaged . Once I reflatten it, I'll go about the assembly....pray for me guys!

Piling on. If only the KC used a slightly subdued metallic paint job like the one used by Matchbox back in 1985 +. The chrome effect is a complete turn off! As much as I am trying to like it.

I don't have one ( one of the unlucky ones who got shut out of the PO madness due to Amiami's very poor server service )but comparing it to the DX Chogokin class seems kind of a stretch. On the otherhand, compared to the Evolution version, how does it compare?

So the Premium finish won't have the decal sheet right? Aside from the glow in the dark, so the decal from the original is now factory painted?
