Welp, so much for hunting down those old Wave vinyl kits last year. Now it's gonna come in much more pleasant to work with polystyrene https://twitter.com/MXF_official/status/1707561072566374903

HLJ's "Discontinued" label is notoriously unreliable and is basically never a reflection of what the actual manufacturer states. Hasegawa has shown that their "limited" kits will eventually come back. Speaking of which, something that got buried in all the Queadluun-Rau excitement is that Minmay Guard Battroid is getting a re-release in December http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/65768/

http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/m32b/ Japanese twitter was begging Hasegawa to include a bottom half for Milia but doesn't look like that's happening sadly.

With the All Japan Hobby Show coming up Hasegawa is announcing their November and December releases: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
-
October announcements have no new Macross, but we do have some returning kits 1/48 VF-1J/A Vermillion Squad 1/48 VF-1A Angel Birds 1/72 VF-1J/A Gerwalk 1/72 VF-0S 1/72 VF-1S Strike Battroid

Battroid comes out March of 2024 for 3,800 yen and that's really not that bad of a price for it https://www.goodsmile.info/ja/product/14346/PLAMAX+1+72+VF+1J+バトロイドバルキリー+一条輝機.html https://twitter.com/MXF_official/status/1656494838421024769

Still no date or price

I don't think so, but Shizuoka Hobby show is only about a month away so....
-
The hands on the original kit are on the G runner with the gunpod. I don't really see them redoing the gunpod so chances are you'll get the old one and a new runner for the new ones.
-
Look at it this way: If Max and Milia are separate releases that means we get TWO new piece of Tenjin Hidetaka boxart Seriously looking forward to this art.
-
Shizuoka Hobby Show announcements for June and July. Hasegawa is updating the 1/72 Battroid kit with a Milia TV version which features a new waist, head adjustments and round TV hands. http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/65882/ Aside from that a whole bunch of stuff coming back
-
Hasegawa May announcements and there's nothing new Macross. But guess what's getting a re-release? Reactive Armor VF-0S Battroid: http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/21-2/ So if you recently got the VF-1 Armored Valkyrie but have been missing the chunky "predecessor" now's your chance! Also getting repops: 1/72 VF-0A/S with Ghost: http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/65777/ 1/72 VF-1J Max & Milia combo: http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/65763/ 1/72 YF-21: http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/11/

That's the plan
-
I wished for it and they made it happen. 1/20 Ingram from PLAMAX. Same as the "nose collection" so only partial but that's enough of a starting point.
-
Street date is January 28th https://bandai-hobby.net/item/5215/

No new Macross kits in March, but they are repopping some 1/48s 1/48 YF-19 http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/mc01/ 1/48 Super VF-1 Max/Milia colors http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/65827-3/ 1/48 VF-1 photoetch http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/65793/ But in non-Macross news, they're doing a 1/72, full action Xabungle which might be a good indication of how any future all new tooling battroids kits from them might work

I didn't see it until now but Luca's boxart is absolutely fantastic
