  1. Better presentation but actually nothing new from Yamato's site: http://www.yamato-to..._095/index.html
  2. More interesting stuff from Yamato's site: http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/cont_100/
  3. Yamato's site announces the Sound Booster is on its way! The pictures are the ones we've already seen but with greater detail thanks to the PhotoZoomer. It's the painted prototype; I'd love to see how the actual toy will look like. The site mentions the sound booster's been carefully designed in order to not to collapse when attached to the VF-19 in battroid mode, a Basara figure in his stage costume and a replacement piece for attachment to fighter mode, all supervised by Mr. Shoji Kawamori. Source: http://www.yamato-to...il.php?gid=1914 It's also mentioned at Yamato's blog that the Sound Booster will be present at WF. Source: http://www.yamato-to...x.php?logid=331
  4. Hard times for the completists!
  5. I've completely disassembled my VF-25 to pieces for modifications and retooling and I can guarantee that both the VF-25 (V.2) and YF29 will share lots of common parts. I mean all the most important stuff is already there. All the problems around proportions, articulations and transformation have been addressed. All the inner mechanisms would be the same. The whole nosecone area would be practically the same, including the cockpit, the pilot, the landing gear and crotch area; it's just to take off the canards. The chest area in battroid mode would retain everything but the upper plate with the clear bits. Only the shoulder plate should be changed from the arms and the guns removed from the lower arms. The hands and the neck would be the same. The head, the back plate top half and the wings would be new but that's easy. The legs would just need to be provided with a new gun panel at the thigh and lower leg panel with the fins; they will attach high enough: they're currently one click down at the thigh and up at the knee to let room for the gun nacelles –like the VF-1's legs with fast pack. Only the outer plate of the shield would need to be changed. Overall, I think at least 65% of the VF-25 is already at the YF-29. I bought mine at AmiAm. Unfortunately, according to them the country where I'm currently living doesn't accept SAL parcels this size so they sent it as EMS. You wouldn't believe how much I paid for it, I'll just say I could've easily bought a VF-1 for that money!
  6. So as a moderator it's not necessary to use spoiler tags?
  7. VF-19 (90's style anime magic design) vs. YF-29 (10's CGI generated design)? Not comparable IMHO. I probably like the YF-29 better as well but I think they both are fair representatives of their own time. I'm off topic anyway.
  8. I'm not really sure about what I'm going to say but I think it probably could be possible to fit a T-Rex Zentradi if the Regult had a front hatch like in the first combat scene of DYRL… I think a good way to display both the Regult and the T-Rex guy would be with the Zentradi soldier crawling out of the back hatch.
  9. + 6 I'm one of those who didn't even know (or remember) there was a missile bay. Though I do think an openable hatch with a high relief of a missile inside could be possible...
  10. Looking forward to AmiAmi's invoice!
  11. Super super big good news!!!!
  12. That's actually a very long time, I'm really looking forward to it!!! Thanks for the updates, Graham.
  13. Great job, kyekye, congratulations and thanks for sharing!

  15. Mine is fine so far, no problems at all.
  16. This custom YF-29 looks cool!!! From: http://www.google.co...iw=1440&bih=807
  17. Mine is at customs and I have to go there to pick it up… I guess I imported too many things this year for they probably want me to start paying taxes...
  18. Has anybody stickered his and would like to share some pics with us all?
  19. Some fine images of the Super-Gundam-Fast-Strike-Pack: Source: http://toysdaily.com...p%3Btypeid%3D14

    SCOOP thread!

http://toysdaily.com...p%3Btypeid%3D14. Not really a scoop though...
  21. Hey, a bit off topic now… According to this guy at http://tamashii.jp/t...u.php?eid=00021 the YF-29 could be called like that because this year is the 29th anniversary of the franchise… Is that just a guessing or the whole theory about the VFs with a #9 having forward swept wings is no more than a coincidence?
  22. He he he... Maybe. We'll find out soon anyway, the release date is approaching...
