  1. Great job!....and no tabs!!!
  2. It would be a major blunder to release it "as shown"....so hoping they just hired the same dude that sets up and takes pics for Bandai and Arcadia!
  3. Dunno...I was thinking the tabs as shown would slide down...maybe whoever took the shot forgot to slide them down?
  4. I had not noticed those tabs before...now I can't unsee them...gee thanks EXO!! Still looking forward to the final product.... As for Toynami.....does simply "anouncing" vinyls count?
  5. Awesome fan film! 1) My two favorite cars 2) Baby!!! If you are a fan...DO NOT SKIP TO THE END!!!!....it'll be a nice surprise ending!!!
  6. That looks great! Chain base eh? Do you own any 1/60 valks? I was wondering if that launch arm would scale decently with the 1/60 valks...maybe as a prop hanging in the hangar and not necessarily on the valk itself....I assume that is the 1/72 scale arm?
  7. Thanks for that link!...so which is the one you bought that was "already wired up"? Would like to add lighting to my hangar dioramas....this sounds like a very "no fuss" or at minimal "low fuss" project...
  8. 1/60 is apparently the popular accepted scale...but I wouldn't mind a one-off ultimate detail 1/48 DX VF-1.....
  9. ...they're called Evolution Toy...so hopefully this isn't an attempt at getting into model kits....because that would be disappointing...
  10. That looks great! I was waiting for someone to post a finished version....
  11. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=42438 The people have spoken.... Suck it Arcadia! Whose in for 4? Guess "Arcadia" needs to be removed from the poll title! Is there hope for someone else releasing a 1/3000 TV SDF-1?
  12. So you want your 3D model to be able to transform "accurately" as well?...If so, no current toy will provide you with a correct reference for that.
  13. VF-1 toy...100 bucks plus shipping.... http://www.hkcollectibles.com/macross-robotech/7239-vf-1j-30th-anniversary-ltd.html
  14. I think one of the differences with the first releases of these version 1 VFs was that they could not accommodate the fast packs that were released with later V1.1? releases that came with fast packs. $33 is pretty good. They are not all too bad in fighter mode. Plus the heft of the diecast on the V1 is something that you will immediately notice is missing from the V2. One of the things I really disliked about the V1 was the sculpt on the VF-1S head...awful....but you have yourself a VF-1A so no worries! Here is a Yamato catalog with some of the V1 offerings.... http://www.macrosswo...showtopic=41794
  15. Yes....the temptation to get a Version 2...
  16. That sounds awesome! Did they look like any of these? Think these are unlicensed.

  18. Not Popbox.... WF 2006 exclusives as Garyboy indicated.... The Popbox are much better sculpts....but there is no other way to get a tv hikaru or DYRL Roy.....unless you build it yourself...
  19. It seems only the special editions and exclusives can still generate a bidding frenzy when they show up on auction. Here is a listing of recent closed auctions for 1/48 Yamato VF-1's to give you an idea of their current market values.... http://closedsearch.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch?p=1%2F48+VF-1+%E3%82%84%E3%81%BE%E3%81%A8&aq=-1&oq=&x=40&y=24&ei=UTF-8&slider=0&auccat=0
