That would be a cool gimmick!
  2. 1) Since you mentioned that you really like the Frontier valks....then my advice would be to stick with Frontier valks......most are readily available and at prices close to MSRP.....if you decide that you must have all the other valks.....then accept that the hobby will manage YOU! 2) The only way a sold out valk's current market price will come down is if a re-release is announced or if it wasn't that popular to begin with.....sadly, that no longer is happening with Arcadia valks as they are produced at much lower quantities than they were during the Yamato days..... 3) If you had $350.....I'd go for the VF-0D...I am pretty sure it will not get a second release any time soon and will probably be selling for $400-450 by next year (see YF-19)....any YF-29 is easy to find and the prices have seemed to stabilize recently.....However, if you want to focus on one line or show....get the YF-29...or save your cash for another year or so and get the latest valks from Macross Delta!!!
  3. Are you referring to this pic? If so....not Lucy.....not that it matters.... Here's a Lucy for you....

You'll need to settle with some "badguys"....
  8. Someone told me where you can get one done....
  9. You see.....companies have been getting the colors wrong on stuff forever! However, I think Arcadia is screwing up intentionally!
  10. great...not another SD valk!!!
  11. I'm only providing a possible explanation to the OP's source of his ideas regarding the valk "colors"....nothing more, nothing less ...and yet with all the advances in OT...they still can't formulate anti-weathering paint! Guess none of the OT budget went into advancing chemical engineering!!!
  12. Thanks Marzan!.....the 80's SDFM merchandising machine was prolific, only the MacF one can rival it........just when I think I am "done"....somethings pops up that I have never seen....keeps collecting Macross interesting!
  13. maybe from the Takani, Tenjin and other various valkyrie illustrations?
  14. Me neither......until I did!

    Congratulations?
  16. So basically....just use the same link and average out the sales for your version....add around 10% for proxy fees and 30-40 for shipping....that would give you a good estimate of price outside of Japan....http://closedsearch.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch?p=1%2F60+yf-21&aq=-1&oq=&ei=UTF-8&slider=0&auccat=0

Since this line isn't too concerned about canon anything....I'd hope for the off-white of the VF-1S....the bright white plastic has a tendency to yellow on the first hi-metal VF-1J release...let's face it...bright white is the worst plastic color to use for any toy that you hope to preserve for years to come..... The bright white colors should only be used when deliberately going for "anime" accurate.....like Yamato did for the SDFM line and Arcadia did for the "DYRL" movie editions.....but don't expect them to look the same in the not so distant future....
  18. Macross Original Theme & BGM Piano Score "book"..............I think this was the last officially licensed and published SDFM TV "book" I had left to find...... Mission accomplished? ..........only time will tell......
  19. Sorry, price would be MIB with box....no box usually deducts about 30-50% for all toys.....but this is a hard to find item and also, most buyers would use them instead of keeping them in the box....so they are an accessory not a stand-alone toy/collectible....I'd say start with 20% off and offer a best offer on auction or price with OBO on a for sale listing.... Good luck!
  20. MIB complete about $350-400 USD.........yours is essentially an "incomplete" sample.....the biggest problem is going to be finding a buyer who doesn't mind the missing part, which is fairly noticeable...I'd say list it with a 10-15% discount and an "OBO".....or sweeten the deal by bundling it with a stand or something similar?
  21. VF-1S TV....no option parts?.....I would say between $125-200 USD subtract 15-20% for box damage....the TV super parts.....$150-200....prices not including shipping and fees....
