Yep.....he does not accept proxy/foreign bidders....guess you actually would have to read the details of his auction to know that....lol Buyee will not even accept any bids on his auctions...so they won't waste their time or that of their customers

I'm not sure how it works....but when you look at the high bid via Rinkya...it's 109k jpy.....so the Rinkya bidder won... However....I'm wondering if the seller tossed out the bid....I think he may be one of those sellers who does not allow bids from proxy bidders....but I could be confusing him with another seller.... If you want his stuff....or stuff from sellers who ban proxy bidders...you definitely can't use Rinkya

The PO offered "free" shipping for either figure....so hoping they send them out as released.... I have 2 Minmays bundled with the 1/72 Super VF-1S, which is also offered with free shipping.....so it shouldn't matter to them if they break up the orders.... Anyway, if you find out differently...let us know!

That is pretty much how I felt about it. I personally did not feel the cel justified the final auction price of 500 USD. With that said, the market indeed felt the price was justified at 500 USD. The "Rinkya" price is irrelevant to any real indicators of market value for this specific cel. As stated, it was just two guys caught up in a pissing contest.

It is interesting that the VF-11C is not commanding YJA "sold" prices on ebay.....although high, I think the ebay price reflects the fact that they are being sold by original owners or collectors that purchased them before the prices for them went cray-cray on YJA......the current going price for a VF-11C in Japan is keeping the resellers on ebay at bay....too much to pay for them on YJA for too little a return (or a sure loss) on ebay... So in short, the 400-450 USD going rate on a VF-11C on ebay is actually a "good" deal at the moment.....usually it is better to just buy straight from Japan if you can...

My guess is probably around the same as the current "Macross"-themed F-14's....I think they are done with the F-14 releases....so they will not be competing for sales (wise move of coming out with the F-14s first)...I personally do not see getting anymore of the F-14s if they are now coming out with "actual" versions of the Macross VF's.....I think that the existing consumer market for these built diecast models are already OK with paying in the 100-150 USD range for this type of product. The KC 1/72 transforming VF-1 is also coming and it may kill some Calibre Wings sales....but I think it is really two different markets...plus being transformable, it probably will not look as "accurate" in any specific mode and especially will probbaly not be as nice in fighter mode...... Anyway, I'm in for at least the first in this new diecast, non-transforming 1/72 Macross VF series.....not sure if I am willing to go all in on the series though......especially if they go all-out Doyusha on us.....they can only do VF-1's right? I think I already know how I'll be displaying the CW VF-1S....
