    I'm pretty sure KC must be concerned about this.....imagine if Arcadia got a license from HG to sell "Veritechs" using their decades old VF-1 V2 mold.....and then sell them at the same price as KC's 1/72 VF-1.....it would be disastrous for KC....I hope they have some "lock" on VF-1 PT toys for the foreseeable future under their HG license...if not, they need to up their game quick!

    Yes, the back cover indicates that.....I think you have said that you go to comiket....have you met the maker(s) of this doujin?.....they are doing a very good job...

    They do not...only for SDFM and DYRL releated products....i.e. the "41" characters and mecha from these shows....any other Macross show can come right in via any distribution company Bandai, Arcadia, etc chooses to partner with to distribute outside of Japan...

These doujins are really nice.....looking forward to more Macross issues!

    So after watching that video from the stream with HG...it definitely seems anyone wanting SDFM/DYRL merch of any of the "41" Macross characters or mecha needs to hope the likes of Bandai and Arcadia are willing to "pay to play" with HG to make them available outside of Japan.....I would hope that the profits to be made outweigh whatever "cut" HG has negotiated under this "brave new deal"..... Unfortunately for me, I am all about the OLD SCHOOL MACROSS.......so this could be just more status quo for me as a collector.....besides, unless Bandai just slaps on a "Robotech" slipcover on their DX's for US/HG release.....I think I would continue opting for the 100% Japanese versions rather than some "Robotech" rebox edition.....

    I wonder if the recent HG/BW news has any impact on whether or not KC can do DYRL designs? I prefer SDFM, but would probably buy any DYRL fig they released!

    They could have just stopped at the SDF-1 bridge and it would have been impressive.....true modelling skill on display there....
