  1. That would be a cool diorama using DX....maybe just use a Yamato TV VF-1A Kakizaki... The image is from Macross Model Hobby Handbook....
  2. Just in time to help pack 'em in at Universal Studios, USA....
  3. Nice finds! Don't think I have ever run across "The Wallet"........ I did add a variant "Binder" and "Free Case" to the Macross Archives - Midwest Division....
  4. So we are potentially a few more Macross series away from catching up to the events of Macross II.... I suppose they can jump foward past 2092, simply ignore the events of MII and start up with a new Macross series, but how would you explain the lack of "fold crystals" in MII if it remains in the same "timeline"? Maybe they will retcon it and say that in-universe producers of the "MII mini-series" released it as part of a "What-if" show....LOL
  5. Nice.....but you still posted it in the wrong thread.... Skylark Macross thread is here: https://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/47791-skylark-macross-do-you-remember-love-merchandise/?tab=comments#comment-1543619 I went ahead and reposted in the Macross Skylark thread....
  6. Nice.....17 hours is a lifetime when it comes to trying to purchase "Japan Only" items from that site. So yes, you were very lucky indeed. There have been plenty of great deals that I have missed due to the ridiculous limitations currently in place. Hopefully, that will change at some point....I am sure the overseas demand warrants a policy change.
  7. It's kinda dissapointing that there weren't more toys released during M7's TV run.....it pumped out the music though...kind of a prelude to MF's plethora of musical releases, but without the cool VF toys to go along with it...
  8. At 1500 JPY...there could only be one place...
  9. yeah...you'd think there would be more posted on Japanese websites....kind of like when you do a search for old pics of Star Wars store displays
  10. Just going to add this here...... Vintage Toy Industry magazines Toy Journal - December 1982 Toy Journal - December 1983
  11. Anyone try it on a VF-1D?
  12. yeah...saw those...once you do a deep dive comparison, the differences are pretty noticeable....still, they look good together......there's not much posing that either can do....so a nice Hangar diorama filled with both 1/48 DX and Yamato GBP's would be a sight to see
  13. Already looks better than the actual Haunted Mansion movie! I fully expect Disney to cash in on Muppets-Haunted Mansion collectibles soon....lol I had to watch that a couple times...so much to take in....this isn't simply the Muppets in the Haunted Mansion....this is the Muppets in the Muppet's Haunted Mansion! So many easter eggs in that trailer....they actually even gave the wallpaper a Muppet makeover....heck....I think I even saw a reference to Mr. Toad....wow....this should be epic! Can't wait!
  14. OK...that is cool....you need to set it up and display it with the Yamato 1/60! OK...one more M7 collectible..... M7 CD Wallet!!! by Seika Note Co., Ltd.
  15. Nice...in that angle they look fairly identical.......it's like you went into the future and brought back a Bandai DX DYRL-type GBP-1S armor set! That dark blue color would be ideal for it and would easily set it apart from the TV version....congrats!
  16. Macross 7 Clear File from Seika Note Co., Ltd.
  17. I chose "personal stock"....I just assumed that was their version of HLJ's private warehouse.....guess I better ask them how long they can hold it
  18. What does the "status" change to on Okiniland when a PO item is on-hand/ready to ship? Currently mine says "Pre-Order Confirmed"....this was my first order from them...a "just in case" GBP Armor Set
  19. Actually, I enjoyed the 15 minute or so lengths per episode...I felt there were just a few episodes that could have benefitted with being a bit longer...but the better ones got to the point quickly and effectively
  20. There's still a Fool's Hope
  21. yeah....the episodes seemed to flat-out copy many of the themes from the existing Star Wars films, which Star Wars itself has done with all of its Japanese film influences....guess it has now come full circle It was still fun...and if you already have D+....may as well watch it
  22. Finished watching the rest of the episodes...the best ones featured sith or sith-like characters....really liked The Elder and Akakiri...Lop & Ocho was not bad, but sort of was left hanging at the end...wonder if some of these episodes may continue their stories on a season 2... The series was worth the watch...I was glad they released them all at once...as most were pretty short
