Since you watched only 1 episode....here is what is explained by the end of the first season....shown in the first episode...

Why there are different vaults?....yes

Why the Nuclear War happened....yes

Why does everything look like 50's....no (honestly, it's just Fallout's style, doubt it will ever be addressed, but who knows)

Who are the "raiders"?  yes

Who is the raider leader?...yes

Why did they take the leader of Vault 33.....yes

Who is the leader of the raiders and her motives?...yes, at least somewhat...pretty sure we do not know everything yet about her

The Ghoul......where he came from and how he seems to have survived for hundreds of years, his motivatios.....yes, quite a bit, but definitely more to learn about him (I won't spoil more about this character, but there are more intriguing things that are revealed as the show progresses...he is by far my favorite character, with Lucy, ironically, being the least interesting, in fact I haven't even brought her up once...and to be honest, her whole character arc could come to a conclusion at the end of S1 if they wanted it to)

What happened to Valut 32...and Vault 31.....yes

Max and the Brotherhood of Steel.......not alot

Why Max gets beat up.....yes

@Seto Kaiba The times you end up liking a series when going in with zero expectations vs the times you end up getting disappointed truly skews towards the dissapointment range, so your skepticism is understandable....Luckily, at least for me...I ended up really liking this show, which lately does not happen often...and I think it was more than just the story...I really liked the characters and the actors selected for each role, imo it's really good casting....kind of how I ended up really liking One Piece....I think the actors really tipped it for me, because to be honest...the whole point of One Piece makes even less sense that Fallout for me...of course, YMMV....

I hope Fallout has a better explanation than that, because that's some hot nonsense.  That actually sounds less believable than those old Star Trek episodes where some aliens find a book someone left behind, assume it's a description of the ideal society, and model their entire culture on it or build an entire world based on it.  Cultural development just took a powder for 120 years?

The whole story is based on an alternate timeline...what if our '50s...was that timeline's 1850's?...who knows...the story is good, but if that's the kind of unexplained detail that will bother you then the show is already not for you

Had no prior experience with the franchise other than the cartoon mascot and the vintage music that goes along with it, which i find kind of creepy....

Just binged it this afternoon and thought it was great, start to finish....

I really liked the alternative time line that seems to be based on a technologically more advanced period during what appears to be the "Cold War" era of the 50's...

Really liked the battlesuits and the whole "Brotherhood" cult or whatever they were considered in the post-war society....

Very much looking forward to more seasons....was kind of expecting another Rings of Power fail, but was pleasantly surprised....I guess that's 2 shows to look forward to on Prime....

So for those familiar with the games...how much of the games is covered by the first season of Fallout?

I think it would have been better if Bandai would have continued the tradition of an "all chrome plated" toy...it would have looked nicer if all parts were finished the same as the head, shoulders, legs and gunpod....unfortunately, Arcadia did not follow through with that Macross Toy tradition....

I guess Bandai must have forgotten the Takatoku VF-1 plated toys when they referenced the "Iron Type" kits instead...no "R" in the DX line...lol

Not sure about the comparison....the KC is not chrome/silver plated

I guess the new Chogokin 50th Anniversary VF-1J is as close as we'll get to the Arcadia Chrome VF-1S teased by Mr. K almost 10 years ago....

If you do not care waiting until after it's released outside of Japan, you can probably get a discount on it come Xmas time later this year.....outside of Japan, I doubt this particular VF has enough recognition and demand to maintain current US retail pricing....guessing it will dip below 100 USD soon after domestic release....

It all depends on how badly US fans want it....like the DX Mechanics VF-1S...there were 2 waves.....if you waited until the second wave, you definitely paid less than those who "panic" bought when it was first released....

Another example would be the "blue" Max VF-0S.......it was not a "VF-1" from SDFM/Robotech and it was not in "canon" colors....it more or less has not gained much re-sale "value" since its original release....

Personally, I think it will not go beyond the 50K JPY range...may even drop below that after the hype clears.....it has a lot of stuff going against it....mainly the non-canon looks...it may not be desireable enough to command much demand, thus keeping the aftermarket price low....time will tell

Ultimately....the colors should just have a subtle or limited inclusion of their "significant other's" ride....like Max's VF-1J has red stripes on the legs....and Milia has blue stripes on her -1J...

The KC GBP M&M ignore this and are just....Max is blue and Milia is red

On the Toynami GBP...they could have just painted the black stripes on the leg armor blue for Milia and red for Max and it would have been ok...but yeah...still much better than the KC versions....they must have had a lot of that blue-grey paint left over!

I guess for US market....this may be available via the NYC Tamashii store....so unless you are close to NY you're still going to have to pay a "finder's fee"....

So far I only see Luna offering it and they have already increased the price for one....lol

The ones listed on eBay may be just as bad or worse....

I do not have access to the sales page....is it still up for PO?
