Don't have Twit-ter or whatever it's called these days.....but can the original video be traced to where or who originally posted the clip?
Maybe it would provide some idea of what show that may have been recorded from?

Saw the ALIEN Director's Cut in the theater almost 20 years ago, prefer the og film but recommend seeing ALIEN in the theater at least once in your life.
That being said I feel motivated to re-play ALIEN: Isolation again for the dozenth time.
I guess I am not that hard-core of a fan if I was not aware of the "Director's Cut" of ALIEN....what's betetr or worse about it?

Yeah. It looks cool. I like how the wing hides in Battroid mode too.
Thanks JVM!
I'm sure we have some papercrafters here who can look at the video and see how it "transforms" to easily duplicate it....maybe even improve it!

Hey @jvmacross! I don't want to create a new thread nor not sure where to post this.
I just want to ask is this some kind of clear postcard that was sold to previous events back in February? If it is, do you have one? It looks cool.
never seen it before...I think it may be a fan-made item...perhaps a limited licensed release at one of the shows.....I can try to find more info on it...but I agree with Tenjin's post...I would be flipping the dang thing over and over again like some 3 year old with a pop-up book! lol
@Shawn you seen this one in your searches for Macross rarities?

Based on recent WWM....pretty confident about this release eventually going for less than the prices at Japanese retailers on Japanese PO day...and that includes adding domestic shipping....
My Collector Beast within will remain fully contained tonight!

I would buy a print of this regardless of the Disney+ text.
LOL....some were p!ssed that the franchise was not available outside of Japan....now most of it will be but some are upset about who they need to pay to be able to finally watch it....

Recent sales look to be mostly 60,000-63,000 range. Though someone paid 69,000, and another paid 52,500.
The Collector Beast within you laughs at your thoughts of patience and restraint....

No one in their right mind is actually paying those "asking" prices....
Here are the sold listings....
Average is under 55K....with many auctions selling for less....
Let's see what happens when the next batch starts getting listed on YJA....lol

Per the Three-Zero website release schedule....says April 2024

Not a "Disney Store"....it's a "Disney Outlet" store for the merch they can't sell from the webstore and some park merch (there are also Disney Outlet stores near WDW and some other cities in the US)...I doubt the Macross/D+ poster would ever show up there...if it did it would be a bad sign for "WWM"...LOL...anyways, "Disney Stores" were another casualty of the pandemic...they are all gone...
Maybe via the Japanese online Disney store at some point?...
https://shopdisney.disney.co.jp/
Since it is not officially a D+ show in the US...perhaps on the Hulu store?

Malls are still a thing? I thought most of those kind of shriveled up and died years ago during the lockdowns.
yeah...they are still around..., in my neck of the woods you'd think they never went out of style....Disney Stores...not so much....
I think there may still be some in Europe or Asia, but I think all "brick & mortar" US Disney Stores closed down a few years ago...all about web shopping or the Parks if you need specific Disney merch...

Maybe at the Disney store at the mall. It’s a bit of hopeful thinking, but who knows where Macross merch may turn up in the near future
What mall still has a Disney Store?

I'll definitely be picking up this release at some point....but passing on both PO night and day...
The last few releaes have actually sold for less than purchasing directly from Japan....so I'll just wait...I can definitely see the clown prince of VFs getting discounted in the future, perhaps by Black Friday or Xmas...
At this point, the only releases I will act on quickly, for now, will only be SDFM and DYRL PO's...as we still don't have much of a choice on them....

Why are old people so obsessed with toys having metal? lol
Maybe young people's attention spans are too short to remember what part of the "R" stands for? lol

They look kind of chunky to me...
The upper torso reminds me of a Yamato 1/48 scale attached to smaller scale legs...
Any indication of when the VF-1J will be released?

Takatoku Sofubi VF-1S Roy Battroid.
The small VF-1S sofubi is arguably the rarest and hardest to find...it only came packed in the Takatoku small sofubi Valkyrie Set 4-pack...
I have yet to see one of them individually sell for what Mandarake has listed it for....I have seen the large version sell in that range and even higher when boxed....perhaps Mandarake thought they were buying one of the large sofubis....
if so...I hope the seller also got a good offer for it!
