Exactly...it's like they know the movie is going to bomb so they are moving straight to the profits they will need from physical media sales to make up for poor box-office sales....

Meh....still going to see it on the big screen....then Fantastic 4.....also will catch the latest Jurassic Park movie on a matinee or 5 dollar AMC tuesday....

Probably the first time I have had zero interest in any item tied to a Macross event....would have tried to grab a D+ Macross Poster if it had been made available

Based on the available "Adam" figs on ebay....it seems to indicate that the import taxes can be covered by the shipper/seller  at the time of shipping....

When you expand on the price details....there is a description from ebay that states....

******"This item includes applicable import fees...you won't pay anything extra after shipping"**********

So it seems maybe KC just doesn't want to cover the import tax for US buyers who purchased directly off their site?....pretty dissapointing...but I guess to them dissapointing the group that has already been waiting the longest is less of a risk than dissapointing what is probably their biggest US retailer....

In short....there is a very high probability that it will have some sort of QC issue...

Could be incorrectly installed parts, loose or broken parts, misaligned parts, parts that are hard to move....and other issues...

Since you are ordering from BBTS, you can at minimum get another one....at best, walk away with a refund....

Which, in hindsight, means that ordering via BBTS was probably the best choice when it came to KC Macross toys...

If you have some time, just go through the thread....there has been plenty posted about KC'S QC...

Seems like KC found an option to get their "Adam" figures shipped to BBTS customers.....if KC ate the import tax for that shipment it doesn't really sit well with me as an early supporter/purchaser of their Regult w/pilot PO, oh well....maybe he used some of the kickstarter funds to cover the import taxes for the BBTS shipment........would be curious to know exactly how many were in that BBTS shipment...

Was there a value placed on your shipments?  Are you saying  ShowZ "pre-paid" the import tax upon shipping the item to you?
