    Would you buy a 1/48 VF-1S TV Version?

    1/48 TV-style cannon fodder would be nice (they already have the head for it).......maybe a re-paint TV-style angel bird 1/48 VF-1A...but that may also sit on shelves? Oh...and a VF-1A "U.N. Headquarters Guard" Valkyrie in 1/60..........may as well complete all the 1/60 VF-1 TV variants.........

    Macross the First: reprint of the 1st Mars chapter... at least the 1st 6 pages are in colour, and is followed by...

    In these color pages...is the SDF-1 shown?...If so, is it SDF-1 TV colors or SDF-1 movie colors?...What about the Daidalus and Prometheus?

    Any Star Trek fans on this site?

    I was looking through some of my stored items and I came across this USS Defiant made by Playmates.

    It is sealed, so the ship is mint. The electronics still work. The box has a few dings.

    I am on the side of everyone who agrees that these are toys that are bought for the love of the design and the show they represent....however, with that said...I believe there are a few that have increased in value and have more or less remained valued at more than their original MSRP.....they are fortunately or unfortunately (depending on your whole take on the subject) a select few...

    Also, I think all of the vintage Macross belong on the list as I am pretty sure you cannot buy any of the original 1/55 Takatoku valks for their original MSRP of 3980 yen....(although they are definitely not demanding what they used to before the Bandai re-releases)....

    WANTED: Yamato Macross boxes

    Hello,

    This may be a long shot but I was wondering if anyone out there does not care for their boxes and would like to make some cash by selling to me?

    I would prefer the boxes to contain everything but the actual toy and accessories. So preference goes to box, packagaing, paperwork and decals. Nothing needs to be in mint condition, just nothing torn or badly damaged.

    I need boxes, etc for the following items:

    Macross The First

    What episode is Macross the First Currently on...in relation to the original SDFM....I wonder if it will actually match (in count) the original SDFM TV show episode for episode?

    It seems that MtF is bringing that portion of the Macross timeline inline with the rest of the Macross Universe thus far (stylistically)....for example....DYRL "as a movie within the Macross universe" is now a better representation of Space War I (stylistically) if compared to the "look" of Mtf vs SDFM...it is closer in look to MtF than SDFM.......the same goes for all Macross productions made after DYRL...they all seem to follow the DYRL style versus the original SDFM "look"......when all is said and done...what will be the official chronicle for Space War I? Or is MtF a "TV mini-series" within the Macross world? :lol:

    Does anyone know if the Macross Frontier movies are also "movies" within the Macross Frontier era? I do believe there are stylistic differences, for example valk armor that is seen only in the Macross Frontier movies and not the TV show.....

    Any color pics in this issue of the MtF SDF-1 yet? Still waiting for that....curious to see if the Daedelus and Prometheus have the same paint scheme as their TV/Movie counterparts and how they look connected to the movie-style SDF-1..... ^_^

    Stopped by there this afternoon.. OMG Line is so long glad I had already gotten a pass ahead of time. Found some macross books and shunya Yamashita books. Other than that I did see a few Sharon and Ranka figures here and there.. but were way overprice.

    My advice if your into the cosplay, you should go there were quiet a few out there that looked really good and sexy, and then there were others...well.. lets just say their friends lied to them when they asked them if they look good in it.

    Also it be best if you already have purchased a pass and physically have it in your possession. The line for both the pick up of passes and getting passes on site is the same distance which goes all the way outside of the convention.
