Hey, I didn't say it made sense. There is, however, a picture in the VF-19 Master File with a squadron of VF-19's fully-loaded and it looks pretty bad-ass.

I'm hoping one of the more talented/adventurous amongst us takes one of these (or a variant if we are so blessed) and attempts something akin to the fully-loaded VF-19 from the Master File with the two back mounted fast packs, leg boosters and double Fold-Boosters. I suppose we can't have all of the wing-mounted Reaction Warheads but damn would this thing look ripped will of that extra hardware hanging off of it.

Has anybody looked this thing over to see if there might be evidence of spots to attach Fast Packs or Fold Boosters or anything like that?

DAMN! Look how solid that thing is in Gerwalk. Like a rock. That's what I really wanted with my YF-19.

Yeah, if I'm the only one working I'm sure as hell NOT getting up in the middle of the night to do all of that stuff.

This is the most awesome toy I don't want to buy. Other than the 1/3000 DYRL version SDF-1.

Dammit, get one some non-garish colors Yamato! That's the 19 Gerwalk I wanted with the YF-19. The whole thing looks totally stable/solid in fighter and Gerwalk.

I'd rather have a D, I prefer the two turret head and the blue stripe to the yellow.

How long was it from the first CAD drawings to release has it been for the VF-19 Kai? That might give us an idea just how far into 2012 we'll be seeing one of these things.

The 11-C was an easy repaint though. It was a reuse of the Mac Plus version.

Hmm, this is really cool news. I wonder how this one will turn out, it appears to be one of the harder Valks to tackle. I was never a big fan of the design until I saw those few pics in the VF-19 Master File and got a sense of a semi-real world looking type 17. I'm sure it will be $300 like the new 19 is as well though.

Other than there being a small spot where the images line up so you can see the 3D it's.... 3D. Completely and totally. The shifting your focus concept makes zero sense to me in relation to the 3DS. Look at the screen and it's 3D. Now you're free to look around the screen and focus on everything out to the edges, as opposed to a 3D movie where they force your perspective and everything else blurs which to me sounds more like a forced focus than the 3DS requires.

Ah man, that's a bummer. I'm already super impatient to see your work as it is. Every time you make a post I get pumped. I'm really fascinated by your design decisions.

It's quite possible you aren't able to view 3D then. I have a 3DS and the backgrounds aren't at all blurry in any game I own.

I will bet the reason why there's little info. on the fast packs or the armor is they're going to make a VF-25 Space Wing edition with all of that stuff just like they did with the VF-1.

I haven't seen the movie but all of the press pics makes the 29 look a little more compact in Gerwalk. That's usually my go-to mode but this toy's ass looks HUGE in it.

And how come the 19 doesn't look like a giant, flying Broadsword jammed into a stone?

I suppose technically if you want to ignore the wings as the back the VF-1's shape is semi-hour-glass. That ignores the rest of it's body type. I could see some of the 25's, and maybe the 29 being more androgynous or feminine.

With that broad chest and shoulders? I don't think so. The Valks are slim and nimble and versatile but so was Bruce Lee... and he sure didn't look like a woman. That's always been my feeling about most Valks, they're more like a slim but muscular martial artist. Except for the RVF-25. That one, maybe due to the head, seems to remind me of a woman more than the others. She's got man-hands!

Despite the historical connotation to females and Valkyries I do not see female traits in the majority of VF Battroid modes. Certainly not in the original VF-1. While not hulking it's a bit butch for a lady.

What's the image to text ratio like? That last Space Wing book was a tad too much text for a non-speaker/reader like myself.

That's a bummer for you guys in Oz. Personally I always ship things by Fed Ex if I can. They're about the only company who can get a package to New Mexico in less than a week and I've never had any issues with lost items either.

It says $35.14 for me. $150 would be ideal I think however what's "bang" for you? The VF-1 is the coolest to me but it's the first Valk I ever saw and I have a soft spot for it. Maybe somebody loves the VF-11 more, then the VF-1 wouldn't be as cool and thus that does not matter. Maybe the VF-22's are cheaper but do they offer more "bang", if you prefer the 11 more then what does the 22 offer the 11 doesn't? Plus the 11 comes with fast packs. That's equal to a VF-1 with super and/or strike parts and a lot more than the 22 offers.

$173 with Fed Ex isn't bad. What do you think it should cost?

That's exactly what I was thinking... though with all of that white it shouldn't be too hard to modify one with a little blue paint to look a lot more like Max's YF-11. Maybe a third and fourth!
