  1. It's one of those things, when you're spending several hundred dollars on a toy every little thing helps. Something as simple as those cannons falling off seems pretty sloppy. Though it sounds like it's only happened to two of us so far.
  2. My cannons are loose just like this too. Not bad for $300 huh?
  3. The less gimmicks the cheaper it will be. And here's a thought... it's a VF-4 toy ACTUALLY being made. That's pretty much the ENTIRE gimmick.
  4. They sound like a bag of chips being manipulated.
  5. Here's a pic I took of my 17 and 19 back to back. My display really needs some lighting.
  6. The man's got a point. If you're going to go obscure, go all out with it. On the other hand they really are just the VF-25 FAST packs.
  7. That Valk really seems to lend itself well to a lot of different special paint schemes.
  8. I still don't understand the loose shield comments on this thing. I have three 11C's and none of them have loose shields. I must have traded in some luck on these things in exchange for crappy 19S ankles or something.
  9. That is a pretty awesome scheme. But it won't happen, not from Yamato anyway. You could probably rather easily (provided you have painting skills) make yours look like that though.
  10. I was about to say, none of this has anything to do with the VF-17, which is awesome looking in Battroid by-the-way.
  11. I don't understand how that happened? They slide back into the arm. Any transformation you do requires you slide them back into the arm.
  12. I wish they'd do this with all of the fighters. Though with wings that slim I'm not sure where they would find the room for them.
  13. Oh, one other issue. Not like it's a hard one to fix but something that seems pretty easy to get right. The two gun barrels that are mounted next to the Cockpit in F/G and in the chest in Battroid just flat out fell off. They just barely hold on. Dabbing a bit of glue fixes this easy but... it's kind of an easy thing to get right and there's no reason why a $300 toy wouldn't have them attached tight to begin with.
  14. If you pop them out you do get more lateral movement. With them set in you get pretty much none. So often times for wider stances they will be popped out. However, it comes at the cost of being less stable. It's not going to cause the toy to fall over but it's a real pain when you're trying to adjust the leg and instead the hip just shifts forward and back a little. Actually, that was the exact same problem you could have with the VF1 prior to fixing the crotch lock.
  15. To be honest I think that's a bad design. It's way too easy to pop those hip joints back out when you're posing it in Battroid. Even the little give when they're popped in makes it feel like it's not quite as stable as it could be too.
  16. As much of a Gerwalk fan as I am having a pair of D's flanking this S in Battroid would look totally awesome. I gotta see if I can save and spring for two D's instead of just the one I had originally planned.
  17. I finally transformed this thing into Battroid. Kinda interesting. It's definetely the most menacing looking of all the Valks. This is one tough looking son of a bitch. A few oddities. The Neck swivel was TIGHT. I had such a hard time moving the head into the correct position. I seem to be having a hard time keeping the two l-shaped joints at the hips to stay in. They keep popping out of their locked position. Also the right arm is super loose at the elbow. I took a screw driver and tried to adjust the screws there but neither in or out worked well. The two pieces of the gun don't seem to fit together too well either.
  18. So far Gerwalk has been fine for me. Pretty poseable. Still not quite as dynamic because the ankles have less play (and I'm also not willing to push them forward or back too far. You can get a pretty deep stance with the nose pointed forward without it tipping.
  19. So far they've been decent. The fact this Gerwalk has a back half that sticks out so far helps keep some of the weight off of the toes (though it will, as all of the Gerwalks do, tilt towards the forward toes.) So far it's been pretty stable and can dig its nose right into the Earth without tipping. I was going to test out some more dramatic/severe poses to see how it handles it tonight. Will let you know. So far I'm still not super happy that I can't really bend the feet back, or forward, as much though. The Ankles on this thing are a hell of a lot tighter then my 19S as well.
  20. I finally got mine last night. Didn't even have time to fully transform it yet. It's sitting on my dresser in Gerwalk right now. Something I did notice is that the head is not centered/aligned correct. I haven't transformed it to Battroid to see if it's easy to manipulate but from Fighter/Gerwalk it was pretty much impossible to straighten back out. From most angles you can't eve see it, but from top-down (the very first view I got of it in the packaging) it was really noticeable.
  21. Anybody sticker theirs with the low vis ones instead?
  22. Wow, that looks fantastic. How long did you work on that model? Any chance of a transformable version in that V.2?
  23. This is getting more and more interesting! What does that original SHE Kit you mentioned this is based off of look like?
