Dunno about Seta no Hayanome, but Muteki Kanban Musume (Ramen Fighter Miki) is comedy gold with little to no fanservice despite the attractive character design. One of few non-mecha series that I watch till the end. Was hoping for a 2nd season (since there is no real resolution), but now I guess it's fine as it is.

Does she remind you of someone someone from a SK's previous show? Man, if that isn't obvious enough. This Grace doesn't seem to be voiced by Kikuku Inoue, so she might be a good Grace. Also, BIG FREAKING NEWS!!! Umai released their HQ episode 2, and sweet Miyuki ass, they already moved on Episode 3 by now.

Man, I'd still choose Ishtar over Wendy Rider.

The next episode slows it down a bit. I say it's a must watch this season, if you are into Super robot show.

Most people here hate Diebuster with a flaming passion, but I think it's worth a watch. Like the original show, it gets good around episode 4 onward.

That pretty much hit the nail, damn, right down to the political conspiracy part. Oh well, but instead in Red Eyes, the protag got his hand on one of the best experimental Armors and kicks ass with it.

It's about a veteran soldier (named "Genocide") who got betrayed by his trusted comrades and is now seeking revenge. That's the basic plot, but the manga also gives more infos about the world around them like the reason why they use Power Armor instead of nukes, the opposing factions, the battles, the development of the Armors...and political stuffs.

Hard to blame ya, but I think you should hear of him somewhere, since he is the one who animated the good ol Macross Missile Massacre and a good part of Megazone 23. Anyway, manga-wise, why don't ya try out Red Eyes? The mecha in there are not really bikes, but more like Power Armor with skates. The action is good and well-drawn but, the story, on the other hand, left much to be desired in my opinion, at least in recent volumes.

GONZO did do some serious stuff, but most of their projects are pure silly, fanservice-y though (like Gravion). Not entirely a bad thing, if you are into campy series and don't take them seriously. Blassreiter was directed by Ichiro Itano no less, that alone explains its seriousness, and how some CGI action scenes of Blaissreiter are even better than Frontier's, all due to Ichiro Itano's involvement.

lol, what do you expect really? I mean, it's obvious enough. Just by the outside look of it, Burst Angel is supposed to be a silly, fanservicy mecha show (by GONZO nonetheless), I don't think you could take it seriously.

That woman is Grace something and comes from the Moon. Goddamn episode 3 is awesome. Iceman is even more crazy than I thought! DESTROY! DESTROY! DESTROY!!! (And the whole nekkid Sela thing = Aquarion reference?) ...and umai still haven't even finished their episode 2

One of many SK's experimental works, this time it takes on the Sentai (or Super Hero) genre. Too bad, it was rushed and the second season never got made.

Man, tell that to RavenHawk. I stopped liking Rideback when it becomes full political and stuff. VC is just ...decent, could be better, could be worse.

Personally, I'd go for a Crossbone Gundam TV series (F91 was gorgeous, delicious and all, but it's just a setup for Crossbone) and Five Star Stories TV series before seeing another MII.

That's a trend of a lot recent shows. Rideback, Casshern, Viper's Creed...you name it.

Now that's just plain awesome.

As much as I hate filler episodes, these episodes were awesome.
