Hope you guys will enjoy the next episodes. Since they will be standard Monster of the week episodes to slowly introduce the cast (and the villains). Imagawa always throw a fast-paced episode first then use other slow episodes to explain the plot further, in the end, the plot might not be what you have seen in the preview. Example: G Gundam, Giant Robo.

Can't blame them on that. In every forms of entertainment nowaday, originality is pretty much dead, name it video game, anime or movie. Producers and Directors alike are even afraid of being "different" because they can't make much money with that, and plus the economic breakdown around them, they are all trying to make a living. I personally prefer nice execution over originality though, an original show with bad execution is still bad, unlike a stereotypical show with outstanding execution.

Hope they release the God Scrander later on. And I guess they will release the transformable Mazinger Z + God Scrander = Big Bang Punch much, much later on, greedy Bandai.

Anime-movie adaptation = Hollywood's new trend after game-movie adaptation. Good lord.

Honestly, you don't like Grooooving Magic? That song is pretty catchy, even for a mecha title's opening. And like sketchley said, timeline-wise, there is no Gunbuster sequel, because Diebuster and Gunbuster end at nearly the exact same time.

Sky Girls is a decent show, pretty fun if you are into mecha musume (ala girls in robot armor). It holds out better than Strike Witch imo, also it got the Vic Viper cameo!!

Heh, I don't have mucho interest in FMA so will probably pass. I'm fine with just BASQUASH and Shin Mazinger this season. Will keep and check up Sengoku BASARA and Guin saga time to time though. ...and Higurashi Rei.

Too bad this is no basketball anime, this is mecha basketball anime They don't even try to follow the basic rule.

New or so I heard, it's more based on the manga. Dragon Ball Kai, on other hand, is just the enhanced version.

Huh? they are for me. I'm watching it with MPC, of course with CCCP Codec. Edit: So what do you guys think about the usage of Big Bang Punch in the episode? Considering the Punch is the combination of Z + God Scrander and the fact it can change back to Robot mode very swiftly, I find no problem with it.
