  1. I have fond memories of staggering home after many a night at the pub, with my friend and I shouting at the top of our lungs "A man and a wo-man together.......it must be pro-to-culture" every time we passed a couple on the street. This after an unsuccessful night where we had both failed to score. Ah the good old days of my youth! Graham
  2. Half Life.....what's that? The only game I'm interested in is a Macross Zero and/or Macross Plus game for the PS2. Graham
  3. I actually love the English DYRL dub, it's so corny it's good. Graham
  4. No, I think he means the VA (Variable-Attack(er)) series was developed for ground attack missions and the VF series was primarily for air and space superiority. Graham
  5. The VA-3 is one of my favorite Macross mecha, especially the submersible VA-3M featured in VF-X2. I also love the black and white pic of the VA-3 in the TIAS Macross Plus book, which shows it loaded with 24 x MK82 bombs. Graham
  6. Tech Romancer was quite a fun DC game. I still have it somewhere I think. IIRC, I think there was also a mecha in the game similar to a Destroid Monster, or maybe I'm just remembering wrongly. Graham
  7. Not that I'm a model builder or collecter, but I'd still love Hasegawa to release a 1/72 fighter mode VF-17S/D w/FPs and a VF-5000B. Graham
  8. I'm one of the few here that saw Macross long before I saw any RT, so RT has no nostalgia for me. Never could get into the RT BGM. I definitely prefer Macross. Graham
  9. Actually, there is a scale reference in that pic. Part of the TIAS Macross book can be seen in the pic (and what true Macross Plus fan doesn't own TIAS Macross Plus), so it is easy to get an idea of the YF-19's size. Graham
  10. The VF-0S, SV-51, YF-19 & YF-21 where originally featured in a downloadable Bandai promo movie for the game. They were also mentioned on a few Japanese sites and also for a while on the Macross Compendium's info on the game. However, shortly before the games release, all mention of these extra valks was dropped and for some unknown reason, the extra Valks were pulled from the game. So basically besides all the VF-1 variants, the only extra Valk you can get in the game is the VF-4. IIRC, to get the VF-4, all you have to do is complete all the TV and DYRL missions (rank is not important). We are all hoping that a PS2 Macross Zero and/or Macross Plus game will be released this year. Graham

    Auska's Attacked

Damn, saw the thread title and I thought it was about the Asuka II carrier from Macross Zero. There I was thinking somebody had maybe posted preview pics of ep # 4 and instead it's about one of those clownish looking eva bots And yes, the Regults are the K&M (Kaiyodo & Movic) figures. Graham
  12. 1/48 Macross Plus....dream on fanboys Ain't gonna happen, no siree, no way. Graham
  13. I don't care what else happens in ep III, I just wanna see Anakin, Mace or Obi Wan decapitate Jar Jar. Graham
  14. Yes, I can confirm Sebastian is not a Trannie Graham
  15. I did read on one Japanese site that the release date for ep# 4 is May 28. No idea about ep# 5 yet, I doubt if even Big West know this early However, based on the speed of releases so far, it will more than likely be at the year's end. Graham
  16. Heh, just like Sebastian, when MW is down is probably the only time I actually do any work! Graham
  17. Macross II is OK, not great, but not terrible either. I love some of the mecha designs, especialy the VF-2SS w/SAP and the VF-2JA. Can't stand the Metal Siren tho, ugliest fighter mode ever IMO. Graham
  18. Looks like Hasegawa may have underestimated the demand for the VF-0S. Yesterday, I visited a couple of model shops near where I live and was told that although the kit had definitely been released in Japan already, Hong Kong wouldn't be getting any until at least mid-February. This is unusual, as we usually get stuff from Japan within a day or two of it's realease. Graham
  19. Heh, heh....he said "Wanzer"....heh, heh Being serious now, I presume Wanzer is supposed to mean Walking Panzer? But wouldn't it have been more funny if the creators had decided to base the name on Walking Tank. Figure it out your selves! Graham
  20. It's still in development. As I understand it, Yamato had to go back and change some stuff and add more details to their preliminary sculpt. IIRC, one of the new March Hobby magazines has a small pic of the cockpit sculpt. I'll try to scan it over the weekend if I have time. Graham
  21. Wrong. Robotech.com is much worse. Heh, the last time I made one of my extremely infrequent visits to RT.com, I saw they had topics like 'Rick Hunter vs Luke Skywalker' and Superman vs Goku', so I turned around and left in a hurry Graham
  22. Errr.....no thanks. I think I'll stick with the Macross toys as I have little interest in either the Game Cube or the Metal Gear Solid games. Graham
  23. I'm actually kind of relieved to hear you say that, Graham. I really don't want to see it altered (for nostalgia's sake), though I'm curious as to what SK might do to it if he were to redesign it. Well, The SW-XA1 and VF-0 are already two good examples of redesigned VF-1s. Graham
  24. Personally, I don't think Kawamori will redesign the VF-1. Graham
  25. But you did see the pics, the 1/100 VF-0. Graham
