  1. Well, he's getting old ya know, so obviously he had to go in for some hip replacement surgery. Graham
  2. Bah, everbody knows that Gamlin & Mylene are the main characters of Macross 7, not that singing fool Basara. Graham
  3. MW is my start up page. Graham
  4. The more I look at the pics, the more psyched I'm getting about this toy. The fighter mode looks georgeous, seems absolutely accurate to the lineart and without the ugly hanging shoulder problem of the 1/48. The battroid mode proportions also look excellent. Transformation seems to be based on the 1/48, which IMO is a good thing as it is a proven system. If anything, the transformation should be quicker as there is no need to retract the hands or heatshield. I for one am glad Yamato decided to drop the hinged flaps and detachable nose cone. While in theory it's a good gimmick, in reality they were a pain in the ass and won't be missed by me. Can't wait until next year when this thing is released. Graham
  5. Even though it doesn't retract, it will still need to be hinged at the top, so that in battroid mode it follows the angle of the canopy. Graham
  6. Got my box of 12 figures from HLJ today. Actually pretty fast shipping for once for HLJ. 2 of every standard figure, but no chase Max DYRL pilot figure I like the Minmay & Isamu figs the best. I actually think the Isamu face sculpt is quite good. (Edited the topic title from 'M COLLECTION' to 'CM'S COLLECTION'). Graham
  7. The heatshield on the VF-0 should be simpler in design as it does not need to retract under the chest in fighter mode. Graham
  8. Heh, I notice the CAD art in the background of Rob's picture still shows the incorrect head lasers, but the physical toy itself has the correct head lasers thankfully. Graham
  9. Don't worry about, it Yamato never do any Tampo printing on the painted resin prototypes, although they'll sometimes use Decals if they can get the appropriate scale ones. We won't see the Tampo printing until the steel tooling is complete and they start churning out some test shots. I'm sure the final versional will have Tampo printed skulls on the heatshield and tails and a UN Spacy emblem on the wing at minimum. Graham
  10. Lets see, VF-0S Focker. VF-0A Cannon Fodder. VF-0B VF-0D Shin color & standand grey ver. VF-0A/S w/Ghost Booster. Graham
  11. Hasegawa VF-0A/S with Ghost in the new November issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine. Click on pic to enlarge. Graham
  12. The upcoming Hasegawa VF-0S battroid along with the Hasegawa VF-0A/S with Ghost is mentioned in the new November issue of Hobby Japan. Click on pic to enlarge. Graham
  13. Locking this thread, as it's already being discussed in the model forum which is more appropriate. Graham
  14. Just picked up the new November issues of both Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby magazines. Unfortunately, neither magazine has any new pics or info on the 1/60 Yamato VF-0S. The only Macross stuff in the magazines, is pics of the 1/48 GBP and Hasegawa VF-0A/S with Ghost, which I have already posted in their respective threads in the toy/model forum. Guess the bastards are going to kep us in suspense for at least another month. Graham
  15. Just picked up the new November issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine and they have some pics of the GBP. Click on pic to enlarge. Graham
  16. Have broadband at home and work for a couple of years. No problems with speed for me on the MW forums. Graham
  17. Damn that sucks. Better go and check mine, I haven't transformed it from fighter mode yet. Graham
  18. LOL.....great description. Yes, I agree it looks hideous. Graham
  19. Better to buy the FAST pack version rather than the regular one. The FAST pack version comes with improved hip joints that have a metal pin in them and won't break unlike the regular version. And the FAST pack version also comes with a nicely sculpted pilot figure. See the review in the toy section. Graham
  20. From the pics, it looks like the hands are not panel lined. Oh well, it will be a simple 5 minute job with a Gundam marker. Graham
  21. Heh, fraid not. After I removed the Macross page for my file, I binned the rest of the magazine, so it's long gone. Graham

    VF-X & VF-X2

Yeah, I'm still pissed at them for not including the excellent M3 intro on the 20th aniversery DVD. Graham
  23. I've had all 5 of my Hasegawa kits (YF-19, VF-22, VF-0S, VF-0D & SV-51) built for me wheels up. The guys who built them for me said it was pretty easy to build them that way and didn't take much extra work. I just think the kits look so much more graceful, elegant and alive when displayed wheels up, especially if using either the Hasegawa Macross stand or the tripod stand that many of us use. Graham
  24. The box art for the VF-0A/s with Ghost looks fantastic, as does the completed mode. They should have built it wheels up though, would have looked much better IMO. So are Hasegawa going to be selling those clear plastic batroid mode stands then? Graham
  25. Only AC3 had fictional designs. Graham
