I didn't get the whole Apollo thing. That was out of nowhere. Loved the Battlestars smoking the Basestars. The whole thing with Cain ended up very anti-dramatic. Leaves me feeling indifferent. No redemption for her character, and no sense of loss, cause, well... no one liked her. She just didn't affect the fans like the original Cain did.
Baltar, well... can we now assume Six was simply a product of a man losing his mind? There was something very "A Beautiful Mind" about the scene when Six disappears.
And am I the only one getting a "Replicant" vibe from the Cylons? Created by man, no history, no past, no sense of self... but longing for some meaning to life, looking for their own identity. And I am also getting a Catholic/Protestant feel for what seems to be two different Cylon factions. One thinks God forgives all, the other thinks God punishes if you don't repent. And the exposure to humans (and their culture??), well... certainly not cut and dry for them, is it?
