A new Star Wars MMO stuck in the saga timeline would be a disaster. When you lock yourself into a period of time that already set in stone, you really lose alot of freedom with what you can do in the game. They paid the price with Galaxies and the Jedi mess, I don't see them trying for it again. And speaking of Mass Effect, just announced that its coming to PC in May. Yet another reason why I can put off buying a new console system.

KotOR had one planet removed from it during development, and its pretty seamless. TSL was a rushed, buggy mess, and was missing a ton of content that actually still exists in the game code (which is so close to being restored by TSLRP Gizka team). The two should not be lumped in together.

TheForce.net is reporting unconfirmed rumors that the KotOR game Bioware is developing is NOT an MMO, and that a Star Wars MMO is being developed by another company. I think its safe to say there is some sort of KotOR game being developed. I wish we could get something official on this stuff, one way or another. Even if it were just "We are working on a Star Wars title."

I've been trying to convert this release for 3 or 4 days to DVD, and failing miserably.

No no, as a Comcast customer, I can assure you they are doing no such thing. I'm way over simplifying it, but basically they are cutting into p2p speeds when they can identify it. Simple encryption beats this, though.

For me, Vista vs XP comes down to speed. My current build is probably 6 months old, and there is no contest between the two. The Windows ME to Windows 98 comparison might not be all that far off the mark. Then again, XP wasn't any hot shakes when it hit the market, either, and I don't think I switched over from Win 2000 until sometime around SP2. As far as the Lian Li goes, I have two myself, but I should note that the one I linked was in the same price range of the others that were being posted in the thread. I wasn't going to post up a $200 case.

So, I still haven't seen Razor. I don't expect Sci-Fi will re-run it anytime soon, and I refuse to rent. I gotta say, I feel totally out of the loop witht he show now, and my interest certainly has waned a little.

The Manga subs aren't that great. I wouldn't mind replacing them, either.

Came across this on AICN this morning (Don't get me started on their worrying over whether or not he finished work on the Joker role). Another young star taken down by what looks like a drug overdose. This shite never ends.

Blizzard is saying they've hit 10 million subscribers. That's just plain crazy.
