  1. Isn't that is what Macross 7 was...
  2. Chogokin, gotcha. That I get. I wasn't sure if they were referring to a mostly diecast toy or what.
  3. Ok, being fairly toy ignorant, I need to ask. When they say "1/60 Vf-25 super alloy", what are they meaning by super alloy?
  4. Mac's are fantastic, but are a money sink. My stepmother has plenty, has been an Apple user for probably 2 decades, and all she ever does is complain about Apple's efforts to suck every dime out of her they can. As far as Windows goes, its XP or nothing.
  5. No, If something was wrong with Frontier, it would have its own issues. Nothing I've seen or heard about the show reminds me of what I disliked about 7.
  6. Awesome! So you'll be up Friday or Monday, then?
  7. I'm not even sure what the original tracker for the M7 release is anymore. Probably should have poked around the Usenet.
  8. Now where did you find the VOB and IFO files?
  9. Somebody needs to put the original remastered ISO up!
  10. Reminds me of the scene in Thank You For Smoking where they are discussing making smoking work on a space station for a movie. She just so HAPPENS to turn into a 10 year old girl every time she gets miclonized. Very convenient! LOL
  11. Oh, I know, Az, but that's not the character they are presenting to us.
  12. I have a hard time buying a 10 year old girl leading what is essentially a special forces team. I don't care that she's actually a miclonized Meltrandi. I mean, this is Macross, man.
  13. Isn't she a little short for a micloned meltrandi? She's like... 10
  14. The main guy worked for SNN. I'm sure there were other networks there.
  15. I don't think its a character for character pseudo-reimaging of SDF Macross. Both female love interests are singers, and Alto, in my mind, totally comes off as Milia.
  16. But isn't that what they are promoting him as? "Trainee student pilot (main character?). 16 years old. He was born in the lineage of Kabuki female role and is a genius pilot, so he went against his father's wish and hopes to become a pilot."
  17. I thought Alto was supposed to be the genius pilot of this series, mecha color aside.
  18. Makes me think of a VF-4 crossed with a Stampede. I just love the design, I think its even better than the YF-21. Just gorgeous.
  19. Its looks like designs for a KotOR game (multiple outfits on several models, based on class), and it looks Sith influenced. Lightsaber and Sith eyes shown as well.
  20. Outside of an original VF-1's, in my mind there is no other Macross toy that is more of a must have than a VF-25 in full armor.
  21. From TheForce.net: ... KotOR III Artwork Uncovered? Posted By Mike on March 1, 2008 See the related links below for our ongoing coverage and hopes for a new KOTOR game. On that note, N4G.com is reporting that they have stumbled across a hidden folder at JZConcepts.com, website of LucasArts artist James Zhang that contains concept art for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III. The source article mentions that this could be from an old canceled project or a new one. Naturally our hopes are for a new game, which would certianly fall in line with the rumors swirling around the good old interweb. Though nothing has been officially announced, this seems to comfirm that the game was at least in the works at some point. Click here for a look at some of the artwork. UPDATE: Our friends at EUCantina.Net did some following up with artist James Zhang and here is what he had to say about the KOTOR 3 artwork: “I’ve never used photobucket — those images were swiped off a private folder on my website, and certainly weren’t intended for public use.” “I can’t really comment on anything regarding the images.” Well, that's certainly not a denial about KOTOR 3. We still have hope until we hear something official one way or another. ...
