  1. HAHA, is there are larger version of this?
  2. I'm with Chowser. These two I really want to see... TV VF-1A MAX Cannon Fodder VF-1A Then if possible the rest... VF-1D VT-1 VE-1 need to come out before reissues.
  3. *waves his fingers in a hypnotic fashion* Give in... you must give in to your temptations... buy fleets of them... remortgage your house to finance your Alpha addictions... You're evil!
  4. Thanks for the pics, now I have to restrain myself from ordering a fleet of them
  5. It's going to be about as big as a 1/48 Imai model. That size is fine by me. Goes good with the 1/48 Yamato Valks.
  6. No, some people don't have problems knocking things without knowing what they're talking about.
  7. AWESOME, thanks for the pics! Looks naked without the sensor on the shoulder Nosecone looks detatchable?
  8. Sounds cool, hope they do a good job.
  9. It probably can land on Earth like in the 70's version... Looks to me like the Starship Enterprise somehow had a baby with a WWII destroyer, and a giant fighter jet.
  10. The anime wasn't all that great. I have some of it unsubbed on VHS. I liked the movie, and the book.
  11. What kind of missle is under the wing in the first pic, or is it another Valk?
  12. Got it on Monday. Looks great! Hmm, I'll probably be putting it together in oh, 2 or 3 years I'm too busy for a while. Maybe this winter I can get back into building. Love these kits though!
  13. Ladic... Some people see only what they want to see. Some people should read the whole darn thing, before jumping into conclusions, because they end up looking funny. edit: to not hurt anyones feelings. PPS: For the too obssessed about Robotech and Macross, I was just pointing out the link, not telling you what to think.
  14. Steve Yun got upset about it... http://www.robotech.com/news/viewarticle.php?id=199
  15. Watch episode 2 the first fight after the credits. One pilots says something to the effect that it's a new fighter, then gets shot down... Very cool looking plane.
  16. That thing is pretty sweet. The price tag on these is crazy though. Weren't WM Cheng's Yukikaze models Hasegawa kits? Those looked really great, are the platz ones really that much better?
  17. Just an idea, check out the rasterbator here, look in the gallery section, I'm sure some Macross images would look really cool done up like this... http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/
  18. Do these count Many more pics here, most are not macross though... http://www.page.sannet.ne.jp/sae9/mecha.html
  19. The 1/40 is just over 6 inches tall, the SuperPoseable is 6.5 inches tall, which means, the 1/55 will probably be around 5 inches.
  20. Why are there LCARS panels on the bathroom floor? Why do I know what LCARS means?
  21. http://www1.fctv.ne.jp/~ushida/vf11b.jpg
  22. If you look at the conversion chart I posted, it says the Battloid mode will be 7.1 inches tall. I'll have to take a look at the 1/40 model and the super poseables when I get home.
  23. Well, I have some 1/40 Alpha models, and they are about the same as the super poseables. If the Toynami Alpha is truly 1/55 scale it will be shorter than the super poseables by an inch I would guess. It's 13.7 meters tall in battloid, so bring that to 1/55 scale, that's how tall it should be. I stole this from Robotech.com forums user GIR_Prototype... VFA-6H (Blue Alpha) Fighter Mode Length: 10.25m Height: 4.60m Wingspan: 8.2m Scale Length: .213541666667m=21.35cm=8.407in Scale Height: .095833333333m=9.583cm=3.773in Scale Wingspan: .170833333333m=17.083cm=6.725in Guardian Mode Length: 8.00m Height: 5.72m Width: 4.84m Scale Length: .166666666667m=16.67cm=6.561in Scale Height: .119166666667m=11.92cm=4.691in Scale Width: .100833333333m=10.083cm=3.969in Battloid Mode Depth: 5.25m Height: 8.75m Breadth: 4.84m Scale Depth: .109375m=10.937cm=4.306in Scale Height: .182291666667m=18.229cm=7.176in Scale Breadth: .100833333333m=10.083cm=3.969in
  24. It's 1/55, so 5 or 6 inches sounds right.
  25. Nice work, please keep posting pics as you go! I'd love to see a close up of the parts you modified. I can't make out enough detail in the pictures.
