  1. Thanks for the heads up, guys. I had no idea that Funimation had gotten the license for Yamato/Star Blazers. Picked up the limited edition 2199 set. When did Funimation acquire the license?
  2. Ugh. I don't even want to think about the preorder madness when Focker's goes up. Does it really have to be so hard to get our hands on these things? I sincerely hope I'm wrong when the time comes.
  3. I feel the same way, honestly. But at the same time I also feel like I should order Ray to support the line or we might never see the last two. Beagle all over again.
  4. Recently got my hands on a Gundam Metal Build Red Frame. The first release without the extra weapons and such, just the suit and the sword, mint in box. Paid about $220 shipping included. Anyone here have this figure? Thoughts? Haven't opened it yet. I'll get around to it this weekend, maybe.
  5. C looks the best to me. Very clean.
  6. Is Stick in stock anywhere besides Nippon-Yasan? Good gravy, they're already up to $338. Sheesh.
  7. Pretty sure all the money went into engineering the figure. Kuma's right about the stand, too. It's the same one that came with Sentinel's Detonator Orgun several years back, which is currently sitting on my shelf.
  8. The figure has so many tiny, thin armatures.. some that look like they're only a couple of millimeters thick.. and many of them are required to rotate, turn, to withstand torque essentially. That's what scares me so much. Even with experience, I feel as though I'm always going to be just one wrong move away from having a very expensive, broken figure. I sincerely hope I'm wrong and that the toy isn't as fragile as it appears to be. Slow and steady with this one.
  9. After watching that transformation video, I'm considering getting a second one just so I don't have to go through the process again. Whew! Probably better for the figure's longevity as well. So many tiny, thin armatures. Scary.
  10. Yep, me too. Really hoping they'll get through all the characters this time around. Fingers crossed.

Still waiting on a TV Roy VF-1S, a VF-1D and Max and Kakizaki's TV VF-1A variants. Also, when are the Tomahawks supposed to go up for preorder?
  12. The Zeta Plus C1/A1 is my favorite suit of all time. Absolutely thrilled that it's being released in toy form, after all these years.
  13. Is there a way to order from Amazon Japan without having a Japanese address? Last time I tried, I was required to have a Japanese address.

Does the VF-2SS not include a stand?
  15. Holy cow, those look so awesome. Cap, those are beautiful!

    Figuarts Zentran/Meltran, please?

To be fair, I doubt the VF-2SS was ever intended to exist as an actual production piece. Lots of animation trickery going on with its design. Having said that, I think it's a good attempt and I don't regret my purchase. I'll probably buy Nexx.. next.

Wish that stand was sold separately.

That's some fantastic lineart right there. Thanks for sharing! Which book(s) would you guys recommend if I wanted to have a relatively complete collection of Macross Valkyrie lineart?
  20. I read something about an upcoming release by Sentinel. Are they going to be trying their hand at the Legioss?
  21. I, for one, appreciate the effort and expense that Randy and Brian of KNERDOUT went through to give us their opinions on the product. Thanks, guys.
  22. I have Sentinel's Detonator Orgun, and if the quality of this Ride Armor is as good as their Detonator Orgun, we should be in for a treat. Got mine preordered at AmiAmi.
  23. About the FlightPose stands: Would covering the rubber tips in a coat of Future prevent paint damage while maintaining grip?
