  2. Agreed. $120 is very, very reasonable for quality like this. Aside from cheap Halloween costume-type helmets, I don't think any of the Boba Fett collectible helmets were this affordable in the past. If they were, I wasn't aware of them.
  3. That thing is beautiful! I'm wondering if it's nice enough to make the people who bought the EFX Collectibles version feel some buyer's remorse. It's that good.
  4. Yep, it is. I got lucky with this one, though. Found it on eBay with the DeLorean and Goodyear Eagle GT decals already applied. What's a good sealer for waterslide decals? The tire decals have already flaked a little which is fine because it looks more authentic, but I don't want them to disintegrate completely. Now if only I had a properly-scaled Marty. NECA's coming out with theirs, but it's too big. ReAction's too small.
  5. I would love to have a nice prebuilt model of the Buck Rogers Starfighter. I know the Chronicle one is out there, but don't have that kinda cash. Hopefully someone will make one.
  6. I think I could probably find some model pinball machines too. Hmm. I didn't play very much pinball though. I stuck to the video games, mostly.
  7. That's Figuarts Zero Nami. Was trying to find figures that scaled properly. Unfortunately, Marvel Legends and such are just a tad too big.
  8. Thanks. Funny thing is, when the coin change machine showed up and I took it outta the box, I teared up. Really took me back, but I dunno why that particular piece did that. None of the others did.
  9. I guess it's not really a toy, but I found an old handheld Coca-Cola radio that works well as a soda machine for my miniature model video arcade.
  10. I'm old. I use Discord. Live chat is nice too.
  11. My brother and I had several Convertors toys between us. They were cheap, yes.. but they occupy a space in time for both of us that was much simpler. We loved them as though they cost much more. It would be a little while longer before either of us would get our hands on the coveted Transformers toys of the day. We got a lot of enjoyment out of those Convertors. It's nice to see them again in this thread. Thanks!
  12. I think it's pretty much guaranteed that they'll release both TV and DYRL versions of Roy's VF-1S. Maybe even a third one with Hikaru's tampo on it, even if it is just a difference in marking. Maybe I'm a cynic, but I don't think they'd pass up the opportunity to sell the same figure several times. I'd like to get at least one of 'em, though.

We need all the main TV characters/machines as well as some Zentran and Meltran soldiers. Britai, Exedol, Millia, Kamjin, etc.
  14. Is it just me, or does it seem like we've seen the last of the Moonstone female body mold for Marvel Legends? Moonstone was the first character made with that buck, so that's how I generally refer to it. It's also been used for Ms. Marvel, Dark Phoenix and Spider Woman. I wish it had been used for Psylocke, but we've had many female figures released since and it looks like that particular body mold has been mothballed. It's nowhere to be seen.
  15. Thanks. I've shopped with both Nippon-Yasan and Big In Japan before. Both have been good. Gotta decide which one to go with, I guess. I'm not a fan of the Akatsuki's pilot, but that gold plating and helmet crest have always appealed to me. I've been waiting for a figure that'd be a good contrast to my Metal Robot Spirits MSZ-006 ZetaPlus C1. Looks like this will do nicely.
  16. Is that Akatsuki going to be available through the usual vendors?

Never would've guessed that I'd be collecting my Macross machines in this scale. It's a little easier on the wallet at least. That and we actually get enemy units. I will probably spring for the Bandai DX 1/48 VF-1S Focker, though. Gotta have at least one of those.

I want that Tomahawk too, dang it. Been waiting forever. I think it's the best looking out of all the Destroids. Planning on picking up two of them.

That's too bad that they're shelf puppies. I have both Sylvie and Nexx and love them. I've always wanted a good, toy version of the VF-2SS. For so many years, the only thing out there was the old Bandai kit. Maybe one day we'll see a larger scale VF-2SS with better quality than the Evolution Toys release.
  20. Found them at retail? My Target is always gutted. Nice haul.
