Absolutely..the pins on mine won't even stay in place when you move it around. I also wouldn't mind a peg that helps keep the wings from flopping down in gerwalk as well. (And a better way to latch for the keeping the battroid's folded torso together..but let's not get carried away.)

I don't know.. You see, I'll admit is neat- okay, mind-blowing, but then I have no interest in a purchase what so ever..it's just too much. BUt that said, there is still a part of me that would still be disappointed to not see this come to some sort of fruition.

Don't you mean "really starting to think about considering to stop buying Yamato's limited stuff?" I bit the bullet and made a hopeful reservation on Hobby Search, I couldn't resist. Between the Armored DX's delay (and zero word on a DX -27 or -171) I was finding myself with a long period of time with no particular stuff I wanted with a little cash to burn. The YF-21/VF-22 is one of my very favorite mecha, and the Yamato -21 is outstanding, so I can bend my "no repaints" rule just this once. I'll be happy if I get one of the limited run; I'll (or rather the woman) be happy for the extra cash if I do not.

I for one hope they revisit the SV-51 with some of the clever locking mechanisms they used on the VF-11.

Why doesn't it make sense? I assume for durabilty.

I'm shaoked no one has mentioned this already, but Jetstorm and the Vehicon Aerial drones in Beast Machines resemble the Macross Plus fighters- resembling some of the features of the YF-21 Battroid in bot mode and looking near identical to the YF-19 fighter mode in their vehicle mode. The seekers in Transformers animated themselves too bear a strong resemblence to the YF-19 as well.

It looks like the entire head is resculpted (it appears the face is painted only on one side.)

MIne is fine thus far...the thing is 12 kinds of awesome just sitting in front of me, especially with it's super packs on.

IS there a release date on the Vf-27? I otherwise assume it's September like the Q-Rea..I can deal with that.

And to think the Armored model kit is displayed fully-painted.

It's not for me..it makes me debate getting one of the YF-19 repaints a little harder now. (Or the AO Sheryl..or a Banpresto Klan..aargh!, decisions, decisions..)

Well I bit the bullet and picked up a set of the mecha from a seller in Japan..I couldn't resist them anymore. I'll probably skip out on the figures unless a Klan pops up at a decent price. (although bets are off if Alpha Omega makes one..)

The GNU-DOU YF-21's gunpod should also be smaller than it is as well. (and there should be two..damnit.)

Well they could place it diagonally like the SV-51 (whihc by the way will likely never get a smaller box ) which could buy it a little extra space. I don't know if it could fit however, since I don't have any of the newer boxes on hand to see if it would work oriented that way.

If it's all new, and we're probably talking Dynamite(if they are so keen to exploit their possible license)..then maybe it is a VA-3. That would give them four repaints to exploit (the standard, the two C variants in Dynamite and the M in VF-X2.)

Is it me or has Ratchet become quite the grizzled, old badass this season?

I wish they would show pictures of thing pianted already (hell we've already seen some of the 1/72 for crisssakes), the suspense is killing me, considering its supposed to be released next month (barring delays.)

HLJ is not..I ordered on the 3rd, and I only got my shipping notice tonight.

1/8 I believe, but by the way she's described she's on the small side of that scale.

It appears bigger than Battle Galaxy's Gunship as well.
