never really cared about the points since I order far too sporadically nowadays to make use 'em, and never really needed the speedy delivery since SAL's been reliable from them. i don't mind paying good money on DYRL itself. Just didn't want the unnecessary extra cost of EMS added onto it. Damn BV for underestimating and putting rather very low preorder-quotas on shops like CDJ that can ship out overseas. :shrugs:

It's not just "paper stuff". Recheck the differences between the two. yeah. it has more. like even more "paper"/card/cardboard/media crap with foreign characters/letterings you won't be able to read and understand by yourself unless you're really that proficient in nippongo and stuff, or you like pretending that you do! however, it's all good, lavinrac-dude. the uberbox will most likely have a pretty box than the regular version. and it's DYRL, mang! you just gotta have the DYRL-uberbox if you are a Macross-fan! unless you're really not, then... anyway, for those of us who preordered the "special request" thingy and tried to cancel to get the not-special-request cdjapan-item, bad news: yeah. bummer. oh, well...

sure you can. i've cancelled lots of orders from them throughout the years. just need to email them if you're cancelling an order. always been their policy, ime.

yeah. thanks for the heads up, mang. re-ordered it right away and got confirmation. hopefully i don't get the dreaded "sorry, out of stock" email from them. not cancelling my old order, yet. just in case. edit: btw, $175ish (sal/new order) vs $213ish(ems/old order).

The Plus HD-Remaster dvd-release did not contain english-subs nor english-dubs. I'll be quite surprised if either BV or BigWest change their minds again for the Plus BD-release to include either or both.

yeah. saw the pics of the MP-11 at tfw. maybe just the lighting was off or something? coz am not impressed at all. quite meh. wonder what the Hasbro-edition will be. if there's even gonna be a Hasbro-edition, that is...

kinda sucks it got bumped to EMS, too. hopefully BandaiVisual gives them more stocks of the uber-box so I can change mine to SAL and have the other fees eliminated.

all i can say is good luck to you guys trying to get the uber-box. however, i wish extreme bad karma for those douchebag scalpers that cleaned out the online uber-box stocks just to gouge the fans. hope they get stuck with their uber-boxes unsold. hope and wish no one (macross-fan or otherwise) even think of considering buying the uber-box thru the various auction sites. just get the regular edition if you can't get the uber-box at the msrp or below it. don't let yourself get gouged by the scalpers!

was sorta tracking the neowing page as I had a bad feeling (courtesy of the first amiami soldout) that when that sold out, cdjapan will most likely almost immediately post the uber-box in the english-page and mark it as "sold out". and that's pretty much what happened. seems like the same damn shenanigan as the VF-171EX shenanigan. &!*$&@#$(*! and the available regular version doesn't even have the usual 5%-10% pre-order cdj discount. :sigh: and I actually even emailed cdj prior to the neowing sold-out to email-alert me when BLJS-93006 becomes available on the CDJ-page. still waiting for that alert. oy vey...
