Here are some screencaps from the special 1-hour live streaming broadcast showcasing the much-hyped upcoming PS3 game “Macross 30” by Bandai Namco. The show was mostly jokey talk with Macross reminiscing (“But is Exedore in the game??” etc), with special guests “Basara Sato” from Famitsu and “Chakku” from Bandai-Namco.
Somebody uploaded the gameplay sections of the programme to Youtube here:

With about two weeks to go until Winter Wonderfest 2013, some of the garage kit makers have been unveiling previews of their exclusive wares for the big event. Here are Frame Out’s offerings, from Macross The Ride. Note that these are conversion kits and you will need the appropriate Hasegawa YF-19 and/or VF-1 kits to make these. MW member Vanpang has kindly provided us with an informative interview with Shinichiro Watanabe, director of ice-cool stylish shows such as Macross Plus, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo and Kids on the Slope.
Interview with Shinichiro Watanabe on 10 November 2012 during Anime Festival Asia(“AFA”) 2012
Shinichiro Watanabe was a guest speaker during AFA 2012 and James Wong and I were given the opportunity to conduct an interview with the legendry director. Shinichiro was the co-director with Shoji Kawamori of Macross Plus and the director for Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop.
The interview was held at Singapore Expo Hall on 10 November 2012 with other people representing other media from Hexishe, Anime Shrine, SG Café and Campus.com. Thus, questions below are a compilation of questions asked by the group collectively.
All his answers were conveyed to the Media in English through a translator and as such some content maybe lost in translation.

The Macross 30 updates come thick and fast!
A few days ago, it was revealed that “Macross 30”, the long-awaited full PS3 game on sale in February, would feature a new Valkyrie — the YF-30 Chronos.
Well, now thanks to Famitsu’s regular news updates, we have the first images of the new Valkyrie in all three modes, and — as hinted at by the short clip of Kawamori playing with his Lego prototype in the recent promo video — it features an interesting appendage…
Many more images from Famitsu here
And ANN’s article can be found here
And, of course, you can discuss all about the game right here in the forum.
